The location is the only good thing about this house. We were there a few weeks ago and were greeted by a woman, she seemed annoyed and we didn't feel like we were welcome.

We were looking for accommodation at short notice and found the Guesthouse Merk. We booked an apartment with breakfast for 4 days and our expectations were exceeded!!!! We felt very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was rich and delicious!!! There is something for every taste, fresh sausage, cheese, jam, fruit salad and much more. The location is very central and after a few meters you were at the boat pier/Lake Constance. Ideal starting point for bike tours, there is also a great bike storage room to charge the e-bikes!!We'll definitely be back!!!

Our room had a great view of Lake Constance and it was only a few meters from the lake.The breakfast was very good and the house was well maintained.The hotel is highly recommended.

We, the Vogler family, arrived with 5 adults on 9.06.024 and were guests in the Guesthouse Merk until 22.06.024. We were greeted in a friendly and friendly manner. We were shown our accommodations, which were well-kept and clean. We were given help and advice aside. Our car 🚗 had a parking space on the hotel grounds and there was also a parking space for our bicycles. We can always recommend the Guesthouse Merk, we would like to thank the Merk family for the 👍 good support and will recommend the Guesthouse Merk to me with a clear conscience. Thank you family for the beautiful days on Lake Constance.

14 days in June 2024 in the Merk guesthouse on Seestrasse in Immenstaad. The central location is perfect. It only takes a few minutes to get to the pier, and the bakery and butcher are just around the corner. That's how we like it. We decided on an apartment, the photos only refer to apartment 54, which we were happy with overall. The router in front of the entrance ensures there is sufficient WiFi. Lake view with Alpine panorama, large balcony and plenty of space. The facility was OK. A kitchenette allows you to prepare simple meals and washing up is a “hand job”. A microwave and a “cup machine” would be great, but you can do without one. We didn't really miss anything. There is a washing machine and dryer (coin-operated) in the basement, a nice service that we used several times. The hotel's own access to the lake is nice, but could not be used because of the flood. The Merk family runs a cafe in the neighboring building, which also includes a “beach cafe”, almost opposite. It's quite nice there and we really liked the homemade cake. Conclusion: We will come back if apartment 54 is available, also because of the moderate price.

The holiday apartment was getting very old. The bed made loud bangs with the slightest movement, so that you often woke up at night. The shower head in the shower was moldy, as was the wooden window. Otherwise the bathroom was clean. Unfortunately, the towels also had a few yellowish discolorations. I assume that was simply because they were a bit older and the stains didn't completely come out when washed. Unfortunately, communication with the owner wasn't very good or rather non-existent. On arrival there was not, as usual, a short “briefing” about, for example, parking spaces, departure or other organizational topics. A quick hello, then handing over the keys and that’s it. In general, the reception and departure were not particularly warm, rather cold. Otherwise a nice location, super close to the lake and quiet (as long as the construction site in front of the door is closed).

Very nice room with a direct view of Lake Constance, very close to the shore. Good breakfast with homemade fruit salad, quark, flax seeds and organic wholemeal bread. Very good price/performance ratio.

The rooms were ok for 2 nights and also clean. We had a view of the lake, which was very nice.Everything is a bit old, but it wasn't a problem for us as long as it was clean.What was particularly great was the breakfast, which was very rich and extensive. There are several types of fresh sausage, cheese, lots of fresh fruit, muesli jam, various rolls and, if desired, a breakfast egg (unfortunately hard-boiled, but freshly made). So there's something for everyone!What was unfortunately very disturbing was the very unfriendly and snotty hotel manager. The greeting was very unfriendly and questions were answered in a sloppy and annoyed manner. You always had the feeling that everything was too much for her.

Very good location in Immenstaad. The room and breakfast selection were fine.What we didn't like was the very unfriendly manner of the boss. You have the feeling that you are not happy about guests. At breakfast, empty plates were not cleared away and people were not asked if they would like another coffee or something similar.

The furnishings are a bit older, but everything is clean and well maintained. I arrived outside reception hours, it wasn't a problem.In the room there was information about sights and tours and also a number of discount coupons.In the reception there was also detailed literature on every excursion destination. It was about an 11-15 minute walk to the swimming area.The construction site right in front of the entrance is not worth seeing. But the operators can't help it.

Very nice place near Meersburg, we were traveling by bike, we were welcomed for 1 night in a very courteous and friendly manner on the phone. Because we were impressed by the lovingly designed garden and rooms, we spontaneously stayed another night. Located on the street, but the rooms are quiet. Breakfast can be put together using a modular system, which avoids waste as you order what you like. Price/performance absolutely fine!! Especially because other accommodations don't rent for 1 night. Thanks!!

Cute apartment with a large balcony and partial view of Lake Constance. A lawn with loungers is available to guests. Breakfast and service excellent. Very centrally located. Large selection of cakes and ice cream in the café.
