We felt very, very comfortable. The hotel is very dog friendly. The rooms and the hotel are very, very clean. The location is perfect.The only thing that was a bit annoying was the noise of the doors, they close very, very loudly. Not every guest uses the door handle, unfortunately it rumbles very loudly. Requests were taken into account at all times and, for example, room cleaning was adapted to our needs. You could contact reception at any time using a tablet.

After our nine-hour journey, we got to the hotel too early and had to wait three hours for our room, which we accepted. Unfortunately it was raining heavily, otherwise we would have gone exploring. We weren't offered anything, we ordered a drink in the hotel bar, after which no one paid any attention to us. After three hours I was supposed to fill out a form, other guests were already checking in, which really annoyed me, I could have easily filled out this form within the three hours. After an unpleasant discussion with the lady at registration, we were able to go to our room (apartment). At least she came to apologize with a bottle of champagne, which I thought was nice.The hotel is very nice and tastefully decorated, but the service does not meet our expectations of a 4 star hotel. Only after I got really mushy was we taken care of sensibly. That wasn't a nice start to the vacation. Otherwise we were very impressed with our apartment.We couldn't understand why we had to pay 25 euros per day for our little dog. The rooms have smooth floors and cleaning is very easy. For 150 euros, a blanket and a bowl and a few treats are not enough service! Every dog owner has all of this in their luggage. If there had been a dog sitting service, the price would have been understandable for me, small suggestion.

Spent 1 week in a 1bedroom Boston Apt (basically a Junior 1br apt at the hotel). Not bad, but not great. I give it a 2.5 but I'll round it down to 2 because of the limitations of this rating system.Location: If you are looking for a hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood, then this is a good match. Otherwise it feels outside of the main attractions of the city, and there isn't anything to do nearby for visitors to get a feel for Hamburg.It is a few minutes walk to the S- Holstenstrasse station with regular trains which can get you to downtown in about 15 mins. An Edeka grocery is nearby too. If you visit their website the hotel claims to be "in the heart of Hamburg" and there are images of the canal area near downtown. Nobody in their right mind would call this location the heart of Hamburg. I feel that this is deceptive.Hotel: The place is fine. It's interior design is the modern dark and moody style. No real personality behind that.Breakfast: Was a nice selection of food and options.Apt: I can't directly comment on the regular rooms because I stayed in one of the studios, but they are all decorated similarly. Not special but not bad, what you see in the pics is what you get. The bed was extremely comfortable.My biggest complaint is with the studio apartment. This is the first time I stayed in a hotel apt which had a kitchenette, but provided no utensils, plates, cooking pan, sink soap or anything like that. Are we supposed to bring that with us on our travels? I had to go to Edeka and buy these necessities, spend another 50+ euros. Also the apartments do not give you access to the gym or sauna, they ask you to pay extra for that. But that area is so small that it wasn't worth the price.I didn't have a bad stay here, it was just a little disappointing. I visit Hamburg for an extended period every year and I like to try a few different hotels while I'm there each time. There's nothing here that will bring me back to this location, and I'll avoid their Berlin location after this stay as well.

We had booked a one bedroom apartment but got a two bedroom apartment. Of course we were very happy about that. The apartment was very modern, beautifully furnished and super spacious. The beds were comfortable. We would come back at any time and can recommend the hotel.

Friendly team at the reception, in the restaurant and the bar. The choice of food in the evening could be a little larger for vegetarians, and nothing was missing at breakfast. We (four adults, one toddler) had a two-room apartment, enough space, clean, everything we needed (three televisions...). The location is a few hundred meters away from the S-Bahn and bus, in a colorful district. Definitely recommended for a three-generation weekend.

The apartment is spacious and large enough for 4 adults and is well furnished. The kitchenette was also functional and good. In addition, 3 televisions in the apartment can definitely be described as generous. The price-performance ratio is generally good. However, we personally were missing two more hooks in the bathroom. The two existing ones were very small for four people, especially since there was enough space for two more. The toilet seat's fastenings needed to be reworked because it unfortunately slipped. All in all, just small things that should be remedied quickly. We would also have been happy if the hand and bath towels had been changed the following day after a strenuous journey on Friday. At least that was our expectation for an apartment in a hotel. We would book the apartment again at any time.

The location is very good. You can quickly get to the city center from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The apartment was very well furnished and had all the necessary amenities. Great bathroom. For a hotel in the city it was very quiet. It was just a shame that the coffee and tea weren't refilled. Kudos for the free water provided. We'd love to come back.

My stay lasted two weeks in total, so I had two different rooms. These were both very, very neat and well maintained, as well as modern. The kitchen actually left almost nothing to be desired, but I personally was missing an oven. As some other guests have already mentioned, the apartments are a bit out of the way and the hallway there is very dark, which is a bit of a shame. Personally, I didn't have a particularly positive experience with the staff. I found it sometimes unfriendly and rude.

Invited by the hotel, we would be happy to write a review.Unfortunately, on this visit the light and shadows were balanced.Let's start with the shadow:When we arrived at reception, they stubbornly tried to accommodate us in a "room with a sofa", even though we had booked an apartment with 2 bedrooms several months in advance for over 300 euros.It was only after a good 5 minutes that the room number that had already been written was reluctantly replaced by an apartment number.When we arrived in the apartment, we were greeted by sauna temperatures of over 25 degrees and a bathroom with plenty of room scents. Why room fragrance? The shower smelled really bad.Then we first wanted to treat ourselves to a coffee from the much-praised Nespresso machine. There were exactly three capsules and 2 milk pots: we honestly shared.Let's get to the light:The beds were really very comfortable and the house was pleasantly quiet.The breakfast, including homemade waffles, was also of very good quality and worth the price. The service in this area was extremely courteous and friendly.The location to the Neue Flora is very good for musical visitors.
