That no longer means Stubenrauch, but rather the Aggertalsperre leisure camp, owner Björn Rolfs. The place is small, cozy, quiet and recommended.

One point deducted for the main road right next door and the fact that there is no V/E station. Mainly long-term campers, but currently (September) rather deserted and wonderfully quiet. Everyone is very nice, the price is right.

We just wanted to ride a pedal boat for an hour. Unfortunately, on the first day all boats were rented by 5 p.m. On the second day we found out that although our dog was allowed on the boat, my wife was not allowed to wait on the premises with the dog. This was particularly strange since dogs are allowed on the campsite.

Beautiful, clean dam, with a lawn for sunbathing and pedal boat, SUP and kayak rentals. Prices reasonable, nice staff everywhere. There is a campsite right next to it. Also gastronomy. The building could be made into something nicer, it seems a bit neglected in parts, there are few parking spaces. But when the weather is nice you can spend a great day there. Unfortunately, dogs are forbidden near the water and on the lawn, which is a shame.

Wow. Just wow. "Dogs welcome" according to park4night - however - the first thing we were told when we arrived, after waiting 25 minutes for check-in service (there was a couple - one couple - being checked in while I was waiting), was that it is not allowed to walk a dog on the camping area and that they MUST NOT PEE OR POOP inside the grounds. The price per person is 6€ however there is a 50 cent TRASH CHARGE per person on top of that. 15 € for the parking, 2,50 for electricity. And then for the dogs.. 3 € per dog. I asked the host why I have to pay for my dogs if you do not see them, you do not hear them, they don't even pee on your grass, what am I paying for?? The answer was that "this is how it is".If you need to walk your dog, apparently you should carry them off the site and go walk them alongside the busy road. Where you really need to watch yourself and your dog so as not to get hit by a car, and at the same time avoid stepping in the piles of dog feces left there.Yet there was a golden retriever in the diahwashing room when I passed it, and there was obedience training of another dog happening on the main path of the camping grounds.Shower tokens are 80 cents and water temp in the shower was changin between freezing and scorching hot.The water in the canal is so muddy and stinky, I can not believe a person let their child bathe there. The garbage disposal is absolutely filthy and over flowing and this is located ca. 10 meters from where food and drink is being served.Stay away.
