It was a really nice vacation.The hosts are incredibly lovely and accommodating.The farm is great and you can do a lot with the animals.We will definitely come back.

The Martens holiday farm is a very idyllic place, not only the old Haubarg with its thatched roof, but also the small duck pond, the old trees and the secluded garden around it contribute to this. When you arrive you are immediately welcomed by the lovely farm dog and the friendly host family and given a short tour of the farm. Dogs, cats and rabbits all love being petted, and our two girls (10 and 6 years old) were thrilled. The highlight for both of them was the riding lessons, Mareike does a great job! While one child is allowed to ride on the lunge, another is led on a pony or tries their hand at ring riding. The children could have occupied themselves on the farm for hours, so that the adults also had the opportunity to relax. A great family vacation, we would love to come back!

We can only agree with all the positive reviews! It was really great to be a guest on the farm, Mareike is super nice and really enjoys pony riding with the children. All the animals are sweet, cuddly and there is a lot for the children to discover and explore. The homemade strawberry jam is the best I've eaten. Thank you for the wonderful time on the farm!!!

We had a great holiday at the holiday farm! We were warmly welcomed, both by people and animals! :) The apartment was well equipped, with a view of the animals - not only our child thought that was great. On the farm there is everything a (children's) heart desires. Also a great starting point for excursions. It's a shame we had to go home again.

Beautiful idyllic farm with lots of animals, lovely owners and leisure opportunities. Horse riding is offered and there are many hay bales in the barn that invite you to run around, climb and hide. The happy chickens also run around freely. The dog and cats are super nice to children and enjoy being visited and petted. The apartment we stayed in was nice and spacious, very clean, simple and lovingly furnished. We had a great loft bed and lots of toys and books. We would like to thank you for the great holiday and would be happy to come back.

A beautiful small, privately run farm with horses, cows, goats, chickens and a small rabbit. You are welcomed very friendly and you immediately feel really comfortable. The apartment we had (calf stable) was very comfortable and well equipped. The children can play with the animals (Mia, the farm dog, loves throwing a ball or a rope). Everything you need for shopping can be reached in 10 minutes by car. We are already looking forward to seeing you again.

Beautiful farm with great holiday apartments, lovingly thought out down to the smallest detail. Simply wonderful for children but also wonderful for adults to “wind down”. Many well-groomed and well-behaved animals. You are right in the middle of the action surrounding the work on the farm. We were happy to take advantage of a great riding arena with the best ground for a riding lesson. The farm is in the best location for all kinds of excursions. Mareike and Jan are super welcoming and we would love to come back.Tina & Heiko

Really great yard. Mareike is wonderful with the children and the animals. There is so much to discover and play. Great. There were big tears from our children as we drove from the yard. But we'll be back next year. Thank you for everything!

Very nice holiday farm with enough space in the apartment for up to 5 people. There is also a small pond with a raft, as well as horses, goats, chickens, cats, etc. Very nice people. Recommended if you want to go on holiday there in North Frisia. Top!

Great vacation spent there.Everything was great. Lots to discover and explore on the farm. You could spend the whole day there if you didn't feel like exploring the area - it would never be boring. My daughter particularly enjoyed the riding lessons and feeding the animals in the morning.We'll definitely be back next yearThank you for the wonderful time.

We spent a wonderful holiday on the Martens family's farm this summer and can only warmly recommend this to other nature-loving and animal-loving families. The large holiday apartment upstairs (Kornboden, 3 bedrooms) is lovingly and comfortably furnished. The fact that there isn't the most modern furniture here didn't bother us at all. You will find the family's personal style again and that is what sets this farm apart from others. You will receive a nice, warm, friendly but unobtrusive welcome. When you arrive in the apartment you will find little niceties such as fresh flowers from the garden, fresh eggs or home-made jam. Mrs. Martens bakes very good cakes and our children were treated to ice cream in the garden every now and then. There is a beautiful seating area in the garden, and the lawn is framed by a beautiful flower garden. There is something interesting to find for children of all ages. The range of play options is diverse and stimulates the children with a touch of adventure and freedom. Our three (12, 10 and 3 years old) were absolutely thrilled. The absolute highlight, however, is the opportunity to take a riding lesson with Mareike. Whether an experienced teenager, a beginner or a little quilter, she responds individually to the children and makes the encounter with the three ponies a wonderful experience. There are many excursion options and wonderful beaches in the area. We will definitely come back again!
