You are standing on the dike and in 2024 the site was a bit swampy due to a lot of rain. The grass is flat and good, as are the toilets and nice showers, although not enough for the 100 places that the campsite claims. The charming town is within walking distance and has plenty to offer for a few days, but there is even more to see nearby. The campsite is a stopover for the Danes on their holiday trip to the south. WORTH A VISIT!

Nicely located directly on the Eider.Washhouse old but clean.Located behind the gas station and the main road, quite loud during the day, but quiet in the evening. Reception only occupied temporarily. Relatively expensive for what is offered.

very nice place. directly behind the Eiderdeich and only a 10-minute walk (if you come via the main road) from the center of Friedrichsstadt. The reception is only staffed at certain times. sufficient power columns. However, the place is very expensive. We are self-sufficient in our motorhome. Did not use the sanitary facilities, supply and disposal infrastructure (hence no evaluation of these). two nights, small motorhome, two adults, 56 euros. If we had booked electricity as well, it would be a flat rate of 5 euros/day, just like WiFi 5 euros/day, so for the overall package you'd be at 38 euros/day, that's steep. However, we found that Frierichstadt is very expensive overall.

We really enjoyed our stay.A nice place right on the dike and a really nice view of the dike. Showers were okay and the campsite was quiet too.Friedrichstadt is right next door.We will certainly come back again.

It's a nice little place, but far too many complications, had to call every time you had to come in to have the barrier opened, the billing was wrong, and you don't feel welcome anymore, it's just such a shame because it's lovely here.

The place is conveniently located to the city, which can be reached on foot. It offers everything you need for camping. However, it seems to have been in operation for many years and could use an update here and there. It is mandatory to bring cash with you when you arrive, as the parking space fee can only be paid in cash. It is clean but rather standard. There are clearly no specified parking spaces. I would come back again but it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice. There is a gas station and a pizza service right in front of the square. I would still like to emphasize the flexibility of the operator upon departure. If you ask nicely and, like me, would like to leave later for traffic reasons, he makes it possible. 👍🏻

Great campsite, just a pity that there was no spin dryer, washing machine or dryer. It has been raining for days and dry clothes are nice. Payment can only be made in cash.
