The hotel is very conveniently located close to the train station, the harbor and the old town. The old post office building has been very tastefully converted into a comfortable hotel. Everything is very clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast, which you pay separately, is excellent. We will definitely come back here again.

Renovated and heavily modernized old building.Parking in the underground car park possible, but few spaces and everything is very tight.Designer room, well made but also a bit impractical. Little shelf space, no wardrobe or built-in cupboard. Instead, an open clothes rail.Separate toilet and bathroom. That's good. Good shower cubicle.But there are some service deficiencies. The air conditioning didn't work, the privacy blind failed, and the top of the wall unit was completely covered in dust.The room cards were programmed incorrectly.Very good breakfast.The hotel itself is quite good, but the service deficiencies should be worked on.

Room furnishings great.Room 739 is next to the elevator shaft. The noises from the elevator were very loud and disturbing.

We stayed in a double room for one night for €185 (without breakfast).At around 12:10 a.m. a fire alarm started with a very loud, unpleasant noise that lasted for 25 minutes. During this time, no one from the hotel could be reached in person or by phone. Our night's sleep was then disturbed for several hours.Neither the following morning upon request nor after a written complaint was the hotel prepared to provide compensation. The false alarm came from the neighboring restaurant, which was the second time it had happened.

Stayed at the Hotel Alte Post for two nights.Our room was ready two hours earlier (highly recommended). We were greeted very, very friendly at the reception and everything was explained to us, where we could find things, where we could go and the further information in the card envelope.The suitcases could be left at the hotel.Had a wonderful room, with two floor-to-ceiling windows and a large bathroom with a window (just as big). The room was very clean, the windows could be opened as desired, privacy screens and blackout curtains were available. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep the first night without any problems (which is very rare). We really liked the design and facilities. In general, the hotel has a great charm and is very well maintained.The breakfast is clearly laid out and offers everything you need. Water, juices, various cereals, fruit, fruit salad, sausage, bacon, ham, cheese, sliced cheese and hard cheese. Breads, rolls, sweet pastries, warm bacon, fried eggs, sausages, meatballs, pancakes and three different cakes. Actually everything your heart desires. Plus different spreads.The location is brilliant, less than 5 minutes from the pier and right in the old town. Come again.

Hotel located between the old town and Lake Constance, opposite the train station and the landing stage, the pedestrian zone and the shops are just a stone's throw away... an ideal location!The room is large enough with a small lounge area, functional wardrobes with a small practical fridge.Beautiful bathroom with shower/WC.Very generous international breakfast buffet...Very clean hotel and price meets standards.

Everything was really right here!Modern and chic hotel at affordable prices in the absolute best location in Konstanz! Rooms were very well maintained and like new. Baths too, to my wife's delight! :-)Breakfast was very tasty and the service was very courteous and friendly. Really great and a clear recommendation in Konstanz! You can park for a fair 18 euros per day in the in-house underground car park.

The hotel is located in a historic building opposite the train station. It was obviously extensively restored following good design planning. Nostalgic charm and modern, high-quality furnishings were perfectly harmonized. Despite the central location, it was quiet there and we had a wonderful room. In our opinion, the location is great, the breakfast is good and is offered until 11 a.m. The house is very well maintained and attractive, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating.For convenience, we parked in a 24-hour parking garage on the adjacent street. We had an excellent dinner in a gourmet restaurant visible from our room.We stayed at the Hotel Alte Post while passing through and felt very comfortable there.For us it was a completely successful stay and we would book this hotel again at any time.

After the breakfast buffet we wanted to take an apple and a small sweet pastry to our room. A member of the service team didn't let us leave by physically blocking our way out explaining this is not allowed. And this twice. Are you kidding me? I am paying 230€ for one night and I can't take an apple and a pastry?? Never again.

Very nice hotel, from the outside it is an old building, but inside it is modernly furnished. The rooms are nice and simply designed. Air conditioning is available and works. The breakfast is great value for money. Large selection of everything your heart desires. Staff is very friendly. The location is very good, super central. The train station doesn't even bother you, you can hardly hear anything when the windows are closed.
