For the price we paid, 380 euros in a double room for one night, it was the last hole in the room. A window that even my husband couldn't reach with his chair to open.Location is great as it is right in the center.Breakfast was ok. We will definitely not come to this hotel again

Absolute flop:The description “modern luxury” doesn’t apply at all. The hotel is totally outdated and downright shabby. The shower door, radiator panel and curtain all flew off. Lots of scratches on the floor and walls. Lampshades really stained and greasy. The sign at the entrance was smeared every 3 days and was not labeled cleanly again.Breakfast was really 0815 for the price of almost 200€/night.The cleaning lady was very nice and tried hard.Information about the deficiencies was received with great shock by the temporary staff at the reception; the hotel manager or human resources manager took everything relatively neutrally the next day. The caretaker then temporarily repaired 2-3 things (the shower door still fell off again). There was no accommodation whatsoever (in terms of price or a little attention, as is otherwise the case with good service).The only really positive thing is the great location in the middle of the old town.We would not recommend this hotel and would definitely not book it again.

A great, charming city hotel in a perfect location. The rooms were big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The welcome was friendly, the breakfast was delicious. When we are in Konstanz again, we will check in here.

The location is great, almost right next to the port, train station and shopping center. Supermarket right next to it, as well as the pedestrian zone. Rooms are clean and large. Friendly staff. Breakfast okay, especially praise for the really fresh fruit and vegetables. One point deducted for the rather high price, but that's just due to the location.

Stayed one night, All was good at the beginning of October. Definitely worth the money. Breakfast great choices and very good coffee. Friendly staff! Parked the car in Augustiner parking lot 24 eu 24 hours. We got tickets for public transport from the receptionists. We used it well. Breakfast view!

Comfortable room, very close to the center. But the service is not really at the expected level: for example, I was refused (at 6:50 a.m.) access to anything from breakfast before 7 a.m. (even if it was included in your room !). Knowing that there is a very busy train to Zurich (especially Airport) at 7:15 a.m., I think the hotel could make an effort (just bread and butter, fruit?). Not complicated though...

We cannot understand some of the good reviews. We haven't been so disappointed by a hotel in a long time. We had booked two nights with breakfast for us and our two children for just under 450 euros.Our room was completely overheated. The fan provided wasn't really helpful. If you don't want to sweat, you have to endure the noise of the main street. The room was very worn out (loose toilet roll holder, shower door very wobbly, missing paint on the wall, etc.). But above all it was very small for four people.The breakfast buffet wasn't really good either. Baked rolls, small ready-made packages, burnt scrambled eggs in the container. There was exactly one egg cup on both days. He wasn't clean either. The water bottles were constantly empty. It was only refilled upon request. We've had much better experiences in youth hostels.The check-in machine at the door tempts you to try. Unfortunately it won't be any more than that. If the sign indicating the reception on the 2nd floor was visible on the door, that would be very helpful. A couple after us also waited in the entrance area for a long time.We are glad that this experience is behind us

Came here for an overnight to visit the area. This hotel is very well located to many things and public transport. I would personally recommending finding another hotel though. The walls are scuffed up. The windows are old and falling apart. The carpet through the whole hotel is gross. They strictly only allow one fan per room even though there is no A/C and the hotel easily is above 85f during June to Sept. The customer service is just not good unless you only want to stay here because of the breakfast. Otherwise for the price I would recommend several of the other nearby hotels with better facilities.

Recommendation again. Booked again for the Seenachtsfest 2025. If everything stays like this, I will always book the hotel for the Konstanz Lake Night Festival. If the weather is good you can even have breakfast outside. This time there is one point of criticism regarding the journey. Despite the announcement, the room was not yet ready for occupancy at 2 p.m. Instead, the door was open and there were towels in the room. There are laundry carts in the hallways. As a result, the sight is not very inviting and is reminiscent of a hospital. I think it would be better to check in a little later under these circumstances and I hope that next time there won't be any dirty laundry next to the room door in the hallway and the carts won't be in the hallway.

The hotel is normal, but nothing more. The room was clean and had a good view, but the walls were a bit worn. The breakfast was good. The price of 2XX€ room per night is a bit expensive considering you don't even get a free bottle of water in the room. Micro packs of Haribo on pillows are everything.The parking situation is a disaster. The hotel does not have its own parking spaces.Parking nearby costs around €26-28 per day. and these parking lots are open and unguarded. The vandals slightly damaged our car. It appears that autovadalism is widespread in Konstanz. I don't advise anyone to visit Konstanz by car.

We were in rooms 306 and 309We were very satisfied with this! Just look for the socket for the fan. This didn't seem to work, but you first had to activate one of the three switches (the others were the lamps) near your bed.In room 306, the fan made the sound as if it had escaped from the devil with a trauma. Maybe check this out sometime? We just left the window open, but you have to be prepared to compensate for the ambient noise.The breakfast was immensely delicious! You can have breakfast until 10 am so that worked out well.A real downside is the accessibility.There are already stairs in front of the entrance and the elevator shaft is surrounded by stairs. Guess what, for the elevator itself on the ground floor you have to climb 5 steps. This is anything but wheelchair accessible. Also in the hall. You can reach the first 5 rooms from the elevator, but then there are again 2 steps.These stairs are such a setback as we were traveling with 2 disabled people and yet the hotel information stated that they are accessible for wheelchairs.A simple solution is to build a ramp or slope. This does not necessarily have to be permanent, a wooden one is also appropriate.In addition, the WiFi was very good, but the range was very poor.This aside, we had a pleasant overnight stay.

Unfortunately I have to say that the price-performance ratio here is absolutely not good. The room was in an old condition, so the reality did not correspond to the pictures on the website. The staff was nice, but unfortunately not experienced and had no knowledge of the room facilities and the billing process. Overall, unfortunately very disappointing. Location, however, was very central.

Everything is fine spatially. Central location. But paying extra for a baby bed is cheeky. In other hotels you don't pay any extra for this.
