This hotel has been permanently closed for a year. The old people have retired and unfortunately have not found a replacement.

Rooms were not visited. A meeting took place on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the start of school.It was just beautiful.🤗

Easy and friendly check in. Close to town. Quiet and large rooms with excellent updated shower/bathroom. Lit our candle at the breakfast table which was situated in a lovely room! Fabulous. (Only wish the bierstube was open!) The Concert nearby also gorgeous with loads of hospitality.

Was there for dinner. I happened to drive by shortly before the kitchen closed. Had an excellent sauerbraten! The innkeeper was hospitable.My unusual request to be allowed to charge my e-scooter there was no problem either!And all of this was available for a decent price! All in all: Highly recommended.

The hotel is housed in a renovated building on the side street opposite, separate from the restaurant. Everything bright and clean. The furnishings are functional, the beds are pretty good. The hotel operators are very friendly and attentive. The place itself is a quiet place since the bypass road is in place, so you can't expect much noise at night. For me, the hotels/pensions differ more in the breakfast, which is always very important to me personally. And I wasn't disappointed. Very good bread roll variants that came fresh from the bakery (even on Sunday). Plus plenty of very good quality sausage and cheese toppings, eggs cooked as desired, or fried or scrambled eggs or both. Yoghurt, fruit plate, orange juice, really plenty and above all good. Due to a lack of guests, we were set up that day in the dining room, which, by the way, and here I'm referring to older reviews, was flooded with sunlight that morning. So I enjoyed my stay and would love to come back.

It's my first time in this hotel and I'm pleasantly surprised by the loving welcome and attention to detail when it comes to furnishings, especially in the breakfast room. Owner is nice and uncomplicated. Everything fits here. It is not for nothing that this hotel has existed for more than 130 years. No need to say more. Thank you very much and good luck.

Stayed here overnight on a hike lasting several days, everything was fine, the nice host even made us something to eat, even though the restaurant was actually closed.

Very nice, large, clean room,Breakfast very good and rich, nice owners. The small hotel is centrally located in Oelsnitz and is an ideal starting point for all nature and hiking lovers. The Vogtland with its many forests and proximity to the Pirk dam is ideal for this, and the health resort of Bad Elster is also close by, where you can visit worth it. Good transport connections (B96, various bus lines and a small train station).>

We have been regular guests at the “Altdeutsche Bierstube” hotel for years and are very satisfied with the service! The rooms are functionally furnished, very clean and equipped with first-class beds. The breakfast is extensive and beautifully presented. The owners and employees are extremely friendly, courteous and uncomplicated!Parking spaces are available free of charge and there is a supermarket right next to the hotel.
