We were traveling as a family with 2 children (1.5 and 7 years). We chose the family time out and had a wonderful time. The employees were consistently friendly and always made everything possible. The highlight for the grown-up was the slide bar, which could be slided with climbing equipment and support. We booked the free toddler set and were very satisfied. The food was child-friendly, so everyone found something for themselves. The fire department theme was implemented and maintained really well. There are endless excursion destinations and restaurants in the area and we certainly weren't there for the last time. Thank you for everything!

I can't recommend it at all.The staff, the teachers and the school classes:Employees are sometimes courteous but mostly extremely unfriendly.As for the room on the top floors. Complete disaster!The children who come across this boarding school on a school trip are incredibly provocative, unfriendly and naughty.If you ask the staff for a new room or ask the teacher to calm the children down, you will be rudely turned away.The room and the bathroom:The room is overall okay, but there are no entertainment options at all, if you're unlucky you might even get a room without Wi-Fi and have to spend your time in the lobby.Let alone the bathroom, which was incredibly awkward and rancid.From a room that is far too small with poor ventilation, mold growth to a jet of water from the shower that could be mistaken for a high-pressure cleaner, there is everything!The location of the youth hostel:The youth hostel is located in the Plauen headquarters.The Plauen Gallery, McDonalds and other cafés, libraries, transport connections, etc. are within immediate reach.However, in the evenings you notice a lot of public transport, motorbikes, cars or people shouting/screaming.The conclusion:I didn't have a quiet night in this youth hostel.I can't recommend it at all!

My son and his football team slept in your facility during a trip to a football tournament. After returning to Poland, it turned out that my son had left his wallet at your shelter. After contacting us by phone and e-mail, the wallet was sent back to Poland to the indicated address. We are very grateful for your honesty and help in shipping the wallet to Poland. Advertised with family time out. Get a shared room with 2 bunk beds. Unfortunately, youth hostel. Room facing the inner courtyard. We were there for 3 nights and didn't have a single quiet night. Maybe it was the room location or the youth hostel, but I don't recommend the youth hostel to families. Bunk beds have nothing to do with family time out. WiFi was only very limited with constant failures. The playroom was locked, some of the toys outside were broken.Breakfast consisted of cakes, coffee, tea and juice. Cereal and cold cuts. Very simple and no variety. Same breakfast for 3 days. The only thing worth highlighting is the location in the city center. There is a parking space 5 minutes away on foot with no guarantee that it will be free, as residents park wildly.Overall we were disappointed even though the staff were nice and helpful. The price-performance ratio simply doesn't match.

The beds are still good but are very creaky. Our room faced the street so it was pretty quiet. It would be nice if you had a large squeegee in the bathroom. Because after showeringHalf the bathroom is damp.The attraction is also the one that is still preservedSlide bar that can be used upon request.

Unfortunately not recommended with older children. We were here as 8th and 9th graders. Children 13-15 years. Unfortunately, the fire department and exhibition are no longer of interest at this age. Excursions were ok so far. My class wanted to romp around and play outside in the evenings. The police were called because of disturbing the peace. It is not possible to go to the playground or green areas because there is nothing there. My conclusion is, nice idea but unfortunately not a good location. Especially as a class where you want to play longer and louder during time out.

Full 5 stars for everything - TOP hostel with a great team of employees...who also had time for a conversation and were always there if you had a question.The youth hostel has a nice central location and the food supply leaves nothing to be desired. The facility also has a small but nice fire brigade museum and fire brigade trucks, which are well worth seeing.We were here on a school trip in January...we'd love to go back!!! Highly recommended for families with small children!!!

It's very nice in itself, but anyone who's here on New Year's Eve can only survive here with a bomb protection suit. There are far too many rockets that explode in the crowds or that somehow fly around.

The youth hostel in Plauen has a very good location. The food was surprisingly good. The chefs put a lot of effort into the preparation. The service was also very good. Friendly staff. I can absolutely recommend this JH.

Where should you start and where should you end?Let's start with the rooms, in these spatial four-wall construction there are beds for four people. These then live in a very small space. There are such high quality cabinets integrated that you only find three of them, the same with the chairs. The bathroom trumps everything. The shower takes an incredible 20 seconds. can only be used is plagued by mold. The shower head is a very mean one, it accelerates the water to 800 km/h and hits unexpectedly. An unprecedented jaw drop, even Juck Noris was unconscious after this. The temperature is difficult to regulate. The shelf in this bathroom offers space for barely anything. But that's not all, the bath's exhaust pulls worse than my hamster does when he smokes an Elfbar.It's very difficult to sleep in the beds because the duvet and pillows are outdated. As a conventionally known slatted frame, you are offered a low-quality pressboard panel. The number of sockets was chosen for three people; nimble feet come in handy here. It's not for nothing else that it's first come, first served. Enough of the Vierwand review.Now let's move on to the culinary part of the establishment. The culinary delicacies are only limited, and in principle not enough is taken into account. For breakfast there are thawed rolls, something to slurp and some older side dishes. The sausage and cheese platters are only refilled when you can shave in them. Our wildlife also has to starve. In the evening it could happen that there is something warm to nibble on, but more often than not it's just cold. Culinary consumption can certainly cause chaos in the stomach. Now let's go to the outside area. There are opportunities to settle and settle. But please don't put tables together, this will anger the host. Few options in the game are offered. Beer is also not allowed to be drunk after a strenuous day. You are spoken to in a harsh tone and scared away. Be careful and take a key with you, sleeping outside is no fun. The door to the outside area often closes and you can no longer get into a less heated room.The high quality trained staff can be found here like aluminum rims on a Fiat Panda. You will be presented with a number of unfriendly Homo sapiens. If any unpleasantness has occurred with fellow citizens in this facility, communist action will be taken and they will be unfairly punished. Instead of finding the problem in a humanistic way, we are threatened with expulsion and a ban from the house, which would mean sleeping outside again.In front of the building, which is called a youth hostel, there are homeless people, drug seekers and hugos.On the whole, there are unpleasant aspects of the accommodation here. You can't have human conversations with the staff. One star is too many, it's better to give it -2. You would be better off packing a one-man NVA tent and camping in the park, you would probably get more out of life.There are few parking options, which means it is better to travel with the tried and tested foot bus. If you would like to buy a parking ticket at the youth hostel, pack your big wallet. The parking lot that is offered to you is small and a few days' walk away.In this sense, skiing is safe and knowledge makes Ah!
