We booked the Lammsbräu room. It is pleasantly spacious, as is the bathroom. The beds are OK, the room overall is a bit too dark. The hotel description advertises that you can tap your own beer in your room after work. This turned out to be fake and the hotelier dismissed it as a gag. So be careful when booking. There is a bakery with delicious breakfast right next to the hotel.

We made a stopover at the end of a tropical travel day. If there was something we didn't feel like doing, it was a damp, sleepless night. …

I visited the hotel for professional reasons. The reception is not accessible to working people or is not staffed. The restaurant is closed and the large terrace cannot be used here. I couldn't find the pool, fitness room or golf course listed on Hotels.com. The hotel's website also mentions a pond for fishing. I didn't see that either. The money was simply debited from a credit card that was only deposited with Booking as security, without my consent and without asking any questions. Contacted the owner about this as I also needed an invoice. When asked about this topic, it was dismissed as normal. Someone has to explain to me what the difference is compared to paying directly via the website. I also receive an invoice from Hotels.com. Furthermore, I was asked in return how else he was supposed to get his money... I had never heard such nonsense under these circumstances and dismissed further discussion as a waste of time. Rooms are very old and could do with a renovation (it is fundamentally clean, but stains on the carpet and sagging mattresses plus old furniture devalue the room). You won't find air conditioning or a minibar. There is a drinks vending machine on the ground floor, but the gas station up the street is a supermarket for the price (an Edeka is next door, by the way). My room was on the 2nd floor facing the main street, which meant you had to decide whether to ventilate or sleep. There are parking spaces available, but only in small numbers (trucks and sprinters sometimes take up 2 or more parking spaces). I can't rate the breakfast. For 90 euros per night, this hotel is an absolute disgrace.

When we arrived at 6 p.m., the hotel was locked and we stood in front of the door for 10 minutes until someone came. had an impression of an abandoned hotel. The rooms are outdated, when you turn over in bed there are creaking and squeaking noises. The next morning when we left we were charged 15 euros for the dog, a total rip-off, a cheek. For us that doesn't mean dogs are welcomeThe main street does its bit for the noise levelnot recommendable
