We had a holiday apartment on the 2nd floor, which was unfortunately unkempt. The first impression was okay, but unfortunately it turned out to be a scam! The bedrooms were full of cobwebs and some of them had their own spiders. A long cobweb stretched over the extra bed. There hadn't been any cleaning under the beds or next to the bedside tables for a long time. The bathroom mats were dirty and the clouds of dust in the brooms that hung directly on the toilet had not been removed for a long time. We used towels as shower mats so we didn't have to step on the floor. It is generally recommended to wear slippers. We didn't see any other picture in the kitchen-living room either. The carpet in front of the sink was dirty and other previous tenants must have literally swept their dirt under the carpet.In the evening we couldn't open the windows or the balcony doors because within minutes there were mosquitoes in the apartment. For someone who is still allergic to it, this is nothing at all! And with an outside temperature of 33 °C, this is absolutely not pleasant in an attic apartment. We were sweating and it was unbearable, so we bought a fan to be able to sleep at all.We had rented the holiday apartment with breakfast and I had already made this clear with the landlady in advance, but that didn't stop her from telling me five times during the stay that the holiday apartments do not come with breakfast. Only when my wife told her clearly that this had been discussed and that we wouldn't have come otherwise did she stop. Breakfast was charged €8 per person and consisted of coffee, rolls, sausage, jam, butter, an egg and orange juice.When it comes to cutlery, make sure that it is clean. We didn't use the egg spoons.Another faux pas was when I was leaving when I was paying for the apartment: After I had paid and wanted to pick up the last suitcases, she told me that the rental agreements said that the apartments had to be vacated by 10 a.m.!That was at 10:05 a.m. When my wife went up to get her handbag. The landlady was already in the apartment putting the towels away! Even though the key hadn't been handed over yet and our valuables were still in the apartment. When I left, I didn't even have the opportunity to go to the toilet before setting off!Furthermore, we did not receive any guest cards to be able to use public transport or other facilities, for example.I attribute some of the deficiencies to the age and health of the landlady. But it's still an absurdity to rent an apartment in this condition and in all the years we've been coming to Grafenwiesen, nothing like this has ever happened to us. Unfortunately we can no longer go to our previous landlords because they don't allow pets.All in all, we will no longer visit Pension Brunhofer and cannot recommend it.
