I booked for 2 days and was happy with the room, except that it was very noisy and you could hear the neighbor snoring at night. HOWEVER, the bathroom is getting quite old. There is no space in the shower and the shower curtain quickly sticks to your bottom, which I personally don't find hygienic when you consider how many people have already showered there (a sliding door would make more sense). Some of the tiles are cracked. The shower holder was broken and not really attractive. The heating system could use a new coat of paint.I thought the breakfast was very good, there was a large selection of sausages and cheese, a large selection of fresh rolls and everything else was there to suit every taste. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Over 10 hairs found in the bed, it almost seems as if the bed had not been covered. Water pressure in the shower extremely low. Otherwise everything is fine and the price is reasonable.

I've been trying to reach someone by phone for 1.5 days because I have a query about a booking. There are a total of 3 numbers on the website and on Google, but no one can be reached at any number. No thanks, I'd rather sleep somewhere else.

The room was clean, but so small it was an imposition. For breakfast there were rolls, baked from the day before. Tough as rubber. impudence. Once and never again. 90 euros for the room...or better bunny box. When we said we weren't there for dinner, there was silence. Just wanted to sleep there.

I booked three rooms for family members because we had a celebration. I myself come from the town. I went there to check in. While I was waiting for the guests, I ordered pizzas from another restaurant over the phone because we were still busy setting up the party at home and have small children. At that moment the owner of the house ran past me and snapped at me: “I've never experienced anything so characterless! Order food somewhere else, in my house!”. I would like to add that I certainly could have ordered outside, but unfortunately it didn't occur to me at that moment. However, the “Metzgerwirt” was primarily a way for us to accommodate our guests. I then noticed that the boss was loudly commenting on me to other guests at that moment. I couldn't leave it like that. I then asked him: “What’s the problem?” He then snapped at me completely upset and insulted me. I then apologized several times to calm the situation down. Unfortunately without success. At the end he said: “Sneak away, otherwise I'll tear you apart!” That became too much for me and I asked him to go out the door with me to clarify the problem. My behavior when ordering pizza was certainly not the fine English manner. I apologized for it several times. However, the gentleman's reaction cannot be surpassed in terms of disrespect. Threatening guests with violence is absolutely shameful. According to the review, the unfriendly or aggressive behavior appears to be a construction site.
