Functional and very clean room. Located right on the street, so a bit noisy. Friendly boss and a good breakfast. Perfect for an overnight stay.

It's been a long time since I was here last time. The old review no longer exists, which is a shame if I had had the sense to improve something.Unfortunately, I had bad memories of this hotel. Well, everyone deserves a second chance.I got room 13, the number doesn't bother me, but it's becoming increasingly rare in hotels. The room is narrow, the wardrobe is at the end of the room. You can't leave windows open, it's on the ground floor with a terrace. The bathroom and toilet are in "separate" rooms and then there is a locked sliding door.It was clean and tidy. The key is also left at night. The furnishings are functional, tastes are very different. The mattress on the bed was too soft for me personally.A limited buffet is available for breakfast. Coffee is brought and eggs are prepared upon request. However, the price-performance ratio is good.Otherwise, still the "old" staff, like 40 years ago. ;-)Parking spaces at the houseWiFi available but poor quantity and qualityNo save, no welcome drink.A kettle is available with some coffee (3 in 1), but mine was a bit broken.

I can't reinforce some of the bad reviews. Rooms large and clean. Large bathroom. Breakfast ok, price/performance great. View great. The owner is a little older but absolutely lovely and always has a cool saying on his lips.

First I had to wait 15 minutes at reception until someone came. Rooms are small but everything you need is there (shower, bed, etc.). However, the shower was slightly moldy and I had to share my room with beetles and a spider. The light in the bathroom was broken and nobody was interested when I reported it to reception. Breakfast was good. No smoke detector in my room and room in general needs renovation. Would not recommend this hotel. I was there for 3 nights (I'm a mechanic), but I would look for another hotel for my next stay in Schwandorf. There are parking spaces directly at the hotel, but they are very tight so not for larger cars. I had real difficulties with my A3.

The hotel, at least the rooms that I saw, needed a renovation. The furnishings are sparse but sufficient. There is no safe or minibar, but there is a kettle and a selection of tea and coffee. The room itself is relatively clean, but there were small spots of mold in the shower and the hot/cold water setting seemed like a game of chance. The bathroom itself was extremely small and uncomfortable to use.The room cleaning felt random, sometimes daily, sometimes not, sometimes the trash can was emptied, sometimes not. It's annoying when the toilet paper isn't replenished for several days in a row and you have to go to reception to pick up more. The breakfast in the hotel has a sufficient selection, there is cheese, sausage, spreads, vegetables and fruit as well as muesli.A variety of different varieties of tea and tea are available upon order, and water and juices are available for self-service.Overall, the breakfast was very tasty and always sufficient. Also worth mentioning is the older couple and their son, who run the hotel and try very hard to fulfill all wishes.Nevertheless, the impression remains that there is a lot to improve before the price-performance ratio would, in my opinion, be appropriate.
