Addendum to my review:Yesterday I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a handwritten note as an apology. I thought that was a really great and very thoughtful gesture and shows that the team takes reviews seriously and really cares about them.Thank you very much for this flowery surprise, which I did not expect and which I certainly do not take for granted. Not every hotel would have done something like that! I gladly accept the apology. :-)Normally I only write reviews if I can give 5 stars - according to the motto "If you don't have anything nice to say, then just don't say anything."In this case, however, I would like to briefly describe my thoughts about our stay in order to encourage the hotel (staff) to think and to give potential guests an insight.We spent two nights in the SkySuite. The reception at the reception was friendly and the room also met our expectations. The more than 20 light switches, which can only be operated in daylight, were a bit complicated. The afternoon snack is really very poor (only cold food and some cake/cream), no water or other drinks. After just 20 minutes the meager buffet was emptied. When asked, the staff reacted annoyed and rude.Dinner was okay both times, but nothing more. On the first day in the pop-up restaurant “Wurzel”, almost all the courses were over-spiced and tasted one-dimensional; on the second evening, our table next to us received dishes that were not even available to us. Since our table wasn't ready at the agreed time on the first evening, we were invited to the hotel bar (at the other end of the building complex) for an aperitif, which we were ultimately charged for. However, what disappointed me the most and something I've never experienced in a hotel before is that my birthday was completely ignored. In every other hotel, no matter whether tiny or huge, you get something small or large, from a card, a piece of cake, a flower greeting to a bottle of champagne. Here you weren't even congratulated - even though there was a gift at the reception was given for me and the hotel logically knew my date of birth from the guest form. You probably don't get that little appreciation and attention even in prison. On the contrary: you will be scolded if, due to the hotel's internal organization, the menu choice for dinner has disappeared somewhere between the breakfast table and the kitchen and you as a guest have not followed the path of the note.Overall, the staff (apart from the service in the “root”) was not what you would expect in an accommodation, especially not in a hotel in this price range. Not warm, not attentive, not open & friendly. You could cross the reception area, but also all other areas of the hotel, several times without the employees raising their heads, let alone greeting you. You simply didn't feel welcome.Conclusion: When checking out (again without a little attention), looking at the bill hurts given the lack of hospitality in the house. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here isn't right at all - it's a shame!

Excellent food and the service was super nice and accommodating.Absolute recommendation!

I booked for a day spa today. And all I can say is it was great! Super friendly staff, great service. Hopfentherme very clean and pleasant.I have already booked the next appointment!!

Unfortunately far too expensive. The prices are increased every year, you can no longer argue that with Corona etc.It's a shame, we really enjoyed being guests in this house.

Very, very nice, family-run wellness hotel in the middle of nowhere but still quickly and easily accessible via the A6. The rooms are great. …

Food excellent, whether breakfast or dinner.Wellness area clean and completely sufficient.Unfortunately the water in the pool is very cold(Apparently the hearing has failed)Very long walkways and everything is very winding.Rooms are a bit old.But the focus is clearly on the restaurant(Short explanation, cosmetic mirror was broken and flashing, unfortunately it wasn't repaired at night either, there was no toilet paper in the wellness area from the afternoon onwards, lots of little thingswhich could easily be improved.Still 4 stars (actually 3.5 if that existed)

Perfect moment for a short break: fantastic food, friendly and attentive service staff. Deductions only for the construction site of the extension. Directly in front of our balcony, not to be ignored despite the great insulation…. Gladly again at any time 👍

A really great hotel, with exceptionally good service 👌 very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, I was only there for 1 night and couldn't use the wellness area due to time constraints. The breakfast and dinner were excellent.

A wonderful hotel! Staff very friendly and attentive. We felt comfortable from the first minute. The wellness area and the entire hotel are clean. The food was world class. Delicious! It would have deserved 10 stars for that alone.
