I let some time pass so as not to be too unfair. For me the time there was torture. Why? A room from the 70s, but not renovated. The bed was ok, but, but, but. An underground TV reception without ARD... in the 21st century. No fridge. Too many guests and too few parking spaces. Was the price/performance ratio appropriate? In my opinion no, but there were guests who saw it completely differently. A strange, strange interpretation of “all inclusive” to me. Well, in the end you could still read it in the small print.But what I found very pleasant was the service staff. Although only moderately German-speaking, very, very attentive, helpful and friendly.

We were satisfied overall. The food was good. Breakfast is plentiful.The rooms are dated but clean. We just sleep in it. Bathroom is clean.Towels are changed if they are left on the floor.If you have a room facing the terrace, you have to expect smokers.We didn't like the smoke because the smoke drifted into the open windows.The Czech Republic is not far away.There are more than enough excursion destinations.

Good day,On August 7th, 2024 we went to Grafenwiesen to the so-called wellness hotel Landhotel Christopher Hof. We had a voucher from Groupon for 3 nights. When we arrived we were quickly handed three pieces of paper and a room key with the comment that the reception had been closed since 12 p.m. Well, we found the room. The hotel is old. The room was also getting old, but clean. There were traces of mold in the bathroom. Since we wanted something to drink, we sat on the terrace. We could have drawn water for free, but unfortunately we had to pay for beer. Coffee and cake were also chargeable. So we waited for dinner. This was then 6 p.m. It wasn't anything special, but you could eat it and get full. We then sat on the terrace and chatted with other guests. Everything was closed at 9 p.m. and my husband then asked the waiter why it was already closed, since the in-house brochure says - terrace open until 10 p.m. Well, we went to the room and were already in bed at 9:30 p.m. on vacation. We had fun and laughed about it because we felt like we used to be in the youth hostel. On 08/08/24 we went for breakfast around 8:20 a.m. My husband went to the reception and said hello. The lady was sitting at the computer and there was no good morning, only "what's wrong". He asked why the terrace was closed at 9 p.m. The answer came with a slight aggressiveness "you can read that in the documents you have in your room." My husband explained to her that it says 10 p.m. The answer became more and more aggressive "that's not possible, I'm the one here Managing director and that's how it is." Then I have it checked. Without further ado, she turned back to the computer and ignored my husband. I then asked him to go to the room and get the folder. Which he did and went back to it Reception (Mrs. Pfeffer) left. He said can I please show YOU something. Then she came with a very red face. She then took the folder and said, that's an old one Folder and I apologize, very loud and totally aggressive. My husband asked why she didn't believe him and that was just one question and why she was screaming at me. Then she took the folder in both hands, picked it up and slammed it with all his might on the counter and shouted "you can leave within an hour and I will expel you from the hotel. My husband answered calmly. I don't know why, but I'm going to have breakfast first and then they'll pay us back the difference. But we should contact the organizer about this. She then said “I’ll call the police.” My husband replied "then do that" and went to have breakfast. After breakfast we sat down on the terrace for a moment. We sat for maybe 3 minutes and the police drove into the entrance area. A short time later, two police officers stood at our table and told us that we had to leave the hotel. Ms. Pfeffer is exercising her house rules. We tried to clarify the situation, but he said Ms. Pfeffer explained it completely differently, which was to be expected. The police officer also explained that she doesn't make any demands on us and that my husband doesn't want to go past the reception when leaving the hotel. So we left the hotel via an external spiral staircase. I just gave her the room key personally. What is surprising to us is that no data was recorded by us and you can only pay with cash. I also wrote down 2 addresses that recorded the process on August 7th. have noticed. My husband just asked why the terrace was closed at 9 p.m. Not more! The waiter was not allowed to bring the suitcase to the car. My husband had heart surgery 4 days before.

Unfortunately I can't even give it 1 star. All inclusive only applies to dinner. Lt. Information material in the room, the terrace should be open by 10 p.m. Mrs. Pfeffer denied this and when my husband showed her in black and white she screamed - leave the hotel within an hour. So whoever asks - gets kicked out. We got our money back, but something like that isn't possible. If she treats the guests like that, then I wonder how she treats the staff. The pond is a mud hole, the footbridge on the pond is broken. There was mold in the corners of the bathroom. Normally I wouldn't have mentioned this, but with behavior like this you have to mention everything. Unfortunately, we can't comment much on the food since we weren't even there for 24 hours. Oh, I soon forgot. Ms. Pfeffer also called the police for help because they said man - but first we'll go have breakfast. Ms. Pfeffer had the police inform us that my husband should not go past the reception when he left. So we went via the outside stairs. We are both over 70 years old, but nothing like this has ever happened to us. The service staff was very friendly

Absolutely worn out. A lawn for sunbathing means a piece of land with weeds at knee height around a dirty pond with a broken jetty and defective loungers. Rooms are dirty even though they have just been cleaned. They insisted on cancellation fees, even though we left immediately. There was a smell of mold in the sauna relaxation room. Unfortunately we had already paid before we saw the rooms. I can only advise against it. Take a look around first if you like it...At least I warned you!

Far too few parking spaces; you only get one if you're lucky

I'm not one to complain, especially when it's cheap. But selling this as wellness and all inclusive is a disgrace. The toilet doesn't flush properly. The lid doesn't fit on it either. The extra bed folded up the first time I sat on it. We stayed here for three nights. No new bed. The mattresses are through.It is clean and passes as a nice, cheap hiking hotel. The proximity to the forest is great.The non-German speaking staff is polite and motivated.There is no hotel management. There is no investment and the food is really terrible. I have never experienced anything like this and I often go to a hotel for wellness. Salad tastes like it comes from a can. No fresh vegetables, no fruit. Sausage from the package. If you're looking forward to delicious food, you're in the wrong place here.An absolute no go as it is sold.

Very simple and quite shabby, but the surroundings are very nice.

The price-performance ratio is right.The food was good, the rooms were clean.Although overall the hotel is a bit old.

For everything you buy or book, you always have to consider how much you will pay for it. The price here is very low, but you get a lot in return. We think that the bottom line is that it fits. The employees put in a lot of effort, and that alone makes up for the negative little things. Food is good and so is the environment. Special praise goes to Stefan, the fast all-rounder.
