Highly committed, very friendly, lovable landlady of a very quiet, rustic-classically furnished and sparkling clean accommodation in a spacious solid construction, with the charm of days gone by, in the middle of lots of nature! Rich breakfast & well-stocked bar. Ideal for switching off!

Very old hotel. Musty smell in the room and the bed is almost collapsing, I'm surprised that you can still call something like that a hotel!Outside everything is overgrown and unkempt. The windows are partly cloudy or dirty, I can only say it's best to leave. If the prices on the homepage are correct then that's a disgrace!!I left again after five minutes and looked for new and better accommodation for the same money. But everything there was clean and perfect. They should be ashamed!!I travel a lot for work but this was the worst so far.No one is responsible for anything or no one can be found in the hotel, that was the next thing. Etc........

This is a very old building with beautiful furnishings but also a noticeable investment backlog. The operator is warm and loving, and the view of the greenery from the terrace is simply enchanting. The building is very interesting, with a fireplace, super rustic oak staircase with gallery, beautiful murals, rustic high-quality furniture. Anyone who likes that and overlooks the renovation backlog will feel at home here - we certainly liked it.

The hotel is a bit old but everything is clean and tidy. Unfortunately there is only one dish in the evening, you either eat it or you don't. This wine is great for that! The breakfast is also really good. All I was missing was some fruit, but instead I had homemade jams and jellies. I'll stay there again next time.

Dear hostess, unfortunately my room was very musty, I didn't sleep well. Great location, needs to be renovated, then it would be recommended.

We were the only guests in October. We shared the room with some mosquitoes that made the night hell. We left early. The house used to be exclusive. However, it is getting old. There's nothing going on in the evening. Luckily we had 2 cans of beer in the car. The town of Gaisthal is small and nice to look at. But in the evening everything is “dead pants”. The only positive thing was the owner's wife: friendly, accommodating. Her homemade jam for breakfast was great.

The hotel looks abandoned and overgrown, everything is dark but an older woman is open. We drove on straight away.

A nice, rustic country hotel. The hosts were very friendly and fulfilled all of our wishes. Food intolerances were also always taken into account. The breakfast and dinner were freshly prepared and very tasty. The room interior is very old-fashioned but well maintained and clean, we had nothing to complain about here. The WiFi left something to be desired; we often had no reception. But overall a great short break with a great view from the restaurant terrace.P.S.: Connection to public transport is a bit difficult with a car, no problem
