Despite the bad weather, our short vacation was a great experience thanks to the hotel and the adjacent restaurant. The hotel is an ideal starting pointfor a multi-day exploration of Regensburg/Weltenburg Monastery/Liberation Hall. The courteous service is perfectThe breakfast in the old cellar vault was very stylish and rich. The rooms are very clean and stylish. (rather minimalist). The only negative point is the glass door to the toilet. But we think that it had to be kept that way for architectural reasons.Absolute recognition and respect for the renovation and transformation of the old brewery into a hotel. That is very impressive. The combination of Hotel Röhrl, the oldest inn in the world (also called Röhrl) and the beer of the same name form a unit that we have never met before. We are happy to recommend the hotel.Greetings from Cologne

It has the wow factor, as the building is just only modified to be a hotel. Industrial and original purpose style together with the modern room expectations has a feeling. I recommend to sleep here!

We stayed at the Hotel Röhrl with our dog for two nights. The hotel is perfect for cyclists and people looking for peace and quiet. Our room was very clean, but the bathroom is really narrow. A glass door separates it from the room, so that a visit to the place at night becomes an enlightening experience for your partner too. Less beautiful. The house was lovingly built from the old brewhouse. Some places and posted pictures bear witness to this unique metamorphosis. Impressive! The breakfast made me happy: fruit salad, Bircher muesli and home-made applesauce made from organic apples. My husband would have liked local sausages. But for the price, the culinary start to the day is completely convincing! It's a shame that we weren't allowed to take our dog with us to breakfast (as we were told before booking). Understandable, but still uncomfortable if you have to eat breakfast separately. We particularly liked the warmth of the staff. Conclusion: If you like it quiet and tranquil and appreciate warmth without placing much value on luxury, this is the right place for you.

We rented a comfort room in the hotel for one night. Here's our criticism: the mattresses in the beds were very hard. The blackout on the window couldn't be closed properly. You couldn't darken the glass door to the toilet; if you had to go out at night, your partner would see the full beam of light. The taps at the sink would be difficult to operate. My wife couldn't turn off the taps. The shower was very narrow, the drain didn't have enough of a slope, and the water was standing after showeringto the sink.We had breakfast onceIn ntercontinental and once heavily ordered. I have never had a breakfast like this before. The scrambled eggs from the can were unseasoned, had no decoration and simply didn't taste good. Conclusion: we cannot recommend this hotel.Drs. S.u.G.
