Super interesting tour by the boss himself. Cozy little inn with a terrace for coffee and cake and a small mining museum.Friendly welcome and service. Please note, the main focus is the mine and the boss, with his support, has made it what you can see and experience today thanks to him. This is worth the money!Everyone could add a few euros to it. Thanks to such people you can experience German history and it fills you with pride in our ancestors!Germany does not consist exclusively of world wars. We have a long and interesting history. There lives a person who offers us a part of our history, which he dug up for us in the truest sense in an enormous achievement for which we have to be grateful. It is truly a life's work.Anyone who complains about food and accommodation or even the price should book a 5 star cruise and switch off their brain!

Great tour in the museum and also in the mine, completely different than anywhere else :-)Afterwards there was solyanka in the winter garden of the house.There is also a small museum shop.

We drove into the mine yesterday. The mountain guide was extremely competent and his explanations were easy to understand even for laypeople. Despite his old age, he seemed fit, considering that he does this tour several times a day. The museum is also highly recommended; here you can also get your questions answered professionally and in an easy-to-understand manner. The inn is also very worthwhile, especially the cakes and tarts, homemade, very tasty. The mountain water that you can purchase is a dream of water. It is as pure as no filter can be, definitely try and buy.

At the weekend we visited this great visitor mine. From the outside it is quite inconspicuous, but underground there is a truly unique tunnel. Through the very individual tour, we learned a lot about how this mine came to be a visitor mine and why it is so unique and special.I don't want to give too much away. If you are in the region and want to experience something extraordinary, you should come here.

Grandma and Grandpa were in the mine with 2 grandchildren... once and never again.1. 50 euros entry for 2 severely disabled people and 2 students... far too expensive!2. Unfriendly guide through the mine.3. Explained far too quietly.Conclusion: It doesn't have to happen again.

We were there on March 13th, 2023 and it was an absolute experience of a very special kind. Thuringia as it lives and lives. We arrived at the mine at the same time with a young couple. My husband wanted to take a few photos when the mine guide asked if he would also like to go into the mine, then he would give the young couple and my husband a tour. I have severe walking difficulties and therefore couldn't go with them. The tour of the small but fine museum was great and interesting. My husband and the young couple were really excited about the tour of the mine. For my part, I had a more than good conversation with the employee present, as we both live cooking and gardening as a hobby and passion.I can only recommend everyone who is on holiday there to visit the Schwarze Crux mine and of course the restaurant is not a 5 🌟 restaurant, but we had clean toilet facilities and running water and two originals who were warm, friendly and accommodating for such a taskThank you very much for the lovely afternoon with you.

So just before we were there many years ago and it is still exactly the same as far as the inn is concerned. For real men who are looking for a bed for 1-3 nights, not a panoramic view and a simple breakfast with coffee can be done. A very good starting point for hikes in any direction.You have to see the mine that the operator is mainly concerned with and the story about it is very interesting. Nicely said the inn is very simple. Before the operator, who is now 78, quits completely, I would still go there again.

Great tour through the mine! An appreciation of the miners of that time. The mine leader sang the first 2 verses of the Steigerlied live in the mine!!! There couldn't be a better tour of the entire mine! This puts the fairy grottos and all the mines in the area in the shade!!! Nothing dry! The group was taken into account and the group dynamic was maintained until the end, great performance! The restaurant is a bit old, but despite the lack of staff they are trying very hard to keep things running somehow! The beer garden is very cozy, you have to be careful not to fall asleep on the comfortable chairs :-D The food selection is sufficient and well adapted to the staff shortage in the hospitality industry! Highly Recommended! Good luck!

So first of all, I'm not picky when it comes to ambience, on the contrary I like the GDR charm. But the two men seemed a bit scary to me. So I don't want to spend the night there. I couldn't get enough of the barrel shower and I might have eaten something, but the toilets didn't flush and the water in the hand basin didn't run. If I can't even wash my hands after going to the toilet, then I can't eat anything. The condition of the toilets is not exactly clean. Men's economy I would say. The tour is very individual, you have to wait until hikers etc. come, but that's not a bad thing. The small museum is tasteful, but only a few rooms. The tour itself is exciting, it's difficult to understand the gentleman at times because he mumbles. And I think he's fibbing about some things (Christmas tree). It was an experience but honestly I was happy to be away from this place again. I was traveling alone as a woman and I was glad that there were other people there.

The mine and the tour deserve absolute 5 stars. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't. Very uncoordinated and the coffee we ordered was not served after 30 minutes of waiting and multiple attempts to ask. Too bad
