We were on a bus trip on April 10, 2024 and had lunch there. Actually, we were given the menu on the bus so that we could order in good time, but it was not sent to the organizer or the bus driver. Upon request, we were given 3 dishes offered... when we arrived at the restaurant we wanted something changed with the dishes, the staff was very unfriendly, everything was already ready (we received the 3 dish menu 15 minutes before arrival) and we waited another 45 minutes for our food . ..The park at the hotel is very nice but I can't recommend the restaurant

Unfortunately our stay was very disappointing. The mattresses were sagging for our standards so the back pain didn't take long to appear. There was a smell of chip fat in the hallway and unfortunately the breakfast wasn't really tasty either. The spa park is beautifully laid out. The service was friendly but unfortunately there isn't anything more positive to say.

A hotel in its own park, which was created by the hotel owners as a cultural park with a great outdoor playground and animals on their own initiative. Food was great, friendliness and value for money for the food were okay. I can't give any information about the hotel rooms as I slept somewhere else.In any case, this child-friendly cultural park is a highlight of Schmiedefeld am Rennsteig.
