This guesthouse is very conveniently located in town. Parking space behind the house.The furnishings are a bit old, but the rooms and restaurant are very clean. Breakfast was very good and there was something of everything.Ate game with dumplings in the evening, which was very tasty.You feel like you've been transported back in time. If that doesn't bother you, you're in good hands here and inexpensively.

We were greeted very nicely, it's an inn like it used to be, very rustic, the food is like your mother's, very tasty and good quality, there are also a lot of locals in the inn, which shows the quality and the hospitality is like it used to be, always happy

100% satisfaction in all aspects such as rooms, breakfast, dinner, friendliness, etc.

We were there for 1 week (7 nights including breakfast). We booked it because we wanted to get to the ski slope quickly. The location is very good - only 900m from the winter world.Unfortunately, that’s about it for the positive ☹️.The room was just shabby. An old worn French bed with completely worn out mattresses. A sagging couch where you can feel the wooden/steel frame in several places when sitting. Old dirty carpeting (carpet) with lots of stains. Broken coat hooks with sharp edges and windows where the paint peels off when opened and falls into the room (see pictures), etc. etc.The service was mixed. The beds were made and the wastebasket was emptied, but there was no vacuuming and we had to get toilet paper three times, even though we put the empty roll down in a demonstrative manner.But the most annoying thing was the breakfast - it was a total failure! Minimum standard. Homemade cheap rolls, some baked a second time from the day before. Cheap juice from the bottle (you could at least put it in carafes to see). One day the cheese slices were moldy. No margarine (just butter) and jam from mini portion bowls. No cereal whatsoever. Boiled eggs, but no scrambled eggs, no fried ham or anything like that.We left the evening before the last day because we preferred to give ourselves the last night and the last "breakfast".Overall the inn was a huge disappointment. We can't say anything about dinner in the restaurant because we didn't even try it due to our experience with the "breakfast"...We only give the second star because of the location.

Thuringian inn in the traditional style, including an audience with clearly audible, but moderately entertaining, but entirely meaningless regular table conversations. But no matter, the restaurant in a rustic atmosphere is open with warm food until 8 p.m.

Positive: Central location, bakery nearby. The only Rewe supermarket has been closed for renovation work since June 1, 2023; On that Thursday the hotel opened its restaurant and offered a very good price/performance ratio for the food. The breakfast also tasted quite good with a lot to choose from; the double room for single use was good, the bathroom was very well equipped.Negative: The host was very brief on the phone. When checking in there was only a quick show of the room and a hint of the restaurant opening, otherwise no information about breakfast or WiFi. At dinner I wasn't asked if I wanted something to drink or have dessert. The wife came out of herself more. Both were nice, but it stayed that way. Unfortunately.

Great food at a great price

We were here for dinner. It was great, we can only recommend it. We had different dishes, all of them were wonderful. The staff very attentive and friendly. The price-performance ratio in this one is unbeatable. The furnishings, very loving and harmonious, are a little journey back in time to our youth, we love that. We will definitely come back.

The food was satisfactory and the service could be improved by being quieter.

Quaint pub - delicious food and absolutely OK in terms of price
