The two of us were here yesterday as “external” breakfast guests. Everything is very cramped and unfortunately, u.M. After the breakfast buffet (selection) for 16!€ in no way up to standard. And the doll rolls and frozen pastries. Otherwise the quality and the coffee were good. But still not a good price/performance ratio. This didn't make up for the very nice atmosphere. The service was rather neutral.

We were in the cafe here. The cake was delicious, the service was friendly and on the ball. Unfortunately, the ginger in the ginger tea wasn't peeled and in thick slices, and it didn't taste very intense either.

By far the best cappuccino in Passau. Very nice atmosphere in the middle of Passau's old town. I always enjoy coming here. The rooms are also a clear 10/10, the only unpleasant thing is the parking situation. But that takes away from the furnishings and the old building charm.

We stopped twice for a snack while visiting Passau. The first time by chance, the second on purpose. The historic venue is simply fantastic. The girls who run it are kind and thoughtful, even with those like us who are not familiar with foreign languages. But they burp to understand and do not give weight to the mistakes that are made when speaking, unlike many locals in the Baden Wuthemberg region, where we were in 2023.The homemade cakes are delicious, first of all the banana cake, but also noteworthy is the carrot cake and the tiramisu, which could compete with Italian pastry shops. The interior furnishings of the room and the rooms, including the paneling and the wooden floor, harken back to the good times.I highly recommend.

A very pleasant experience, as the hotel and the rooms are in an old rural style. Beautifully white washed walls and the doorways have a bow shaped top. Everything works and the matress is great. Sturdy yet comfy. Windows facing the Danube have great river view. Windows facing the street have pitoresque classic style architectured street view. Windows of other buildings nearby take some of the privacy but there are cutains and they are all thick beige.. nothing too dark, nor transparent.Everything is tidy and clean. Staff is helpful.People mention the bell chiming as bothering but we thought it added to our holiday charm. At least from suite 5 they sound quite distant and soothing. The floors squeek but that didnt bother us roo much if you consider its dimue to an authentic old building and the rooms look so romantic, light, and charming, yet modrn kitchen, bath, wc, as well as modern sinks with taps.Only the bathroom door, in our opinion, should have had the same linnen covering over its' windiws as the outside door and bedroom door.It was still too transparent to have adjacent to the kids bedroom. And if we had switched bedrooms, the parents would have had 2 x single bed and kids 1x double bed.
