Unique and rustic ambience in a good location. The rooms are clean and you receive a very warm welcome. You can feel the owner's passion and it's an interesting mix. Only four points for now, until I could enjoy dinner and a cake :) You can pay by card in the hotel, but it wasn't possible at the bar during my stay. That's ok, but it would be comfortable to communicate/visualize it a little more clearly. We don't need to discuss price/performance here, it's TOP! Good luck to the Distelhof team for the future.

Last weekend we celebrated my birthday at Dirk's Distelhof with about 30 people.We wanted a nice place to celebrate in a quiet location in nature where the children can play. The marquee on the meadow in front of the Distelhof was ideal for this. There was enough space in the hotel to accommodate everyone, the breakfast was great and the weather was perfect.Above all, Dirk took care of everything, so all we had to do was show up. Everyone really enjoyed it and we can only warmly recommend it, thank you very much Dirk!

Easy to reach by bike. Very nice service. Prices are quite expensive, 4.50 euros for a piece of cake. Otherwise, a nice destination for the weekend.

Beautiful small hotel (owner-run) for people who like it romantic and quiet. The place is nice and quiet. The boss cooks a very tasty meal for the hotel guests (if they want it). We felt welcome and in good hands. Absolute recommendation

Had the opportunity to stop at Distelhof this week. The hotel is very quiet, so I had a restful sleep. Unfortunately I had already had dinner before, otherwise I would have eaten there. The owner is really nice and accommodating.

The rooms are simple but clean. In my opinion the room prices are way too high.I personally think the drinks prices are too high. There is a refrigerator on the floor that only contains drinks for €5. Even water costs €5. The cooling also costs money, but I still think these prices are unreasonable. At least water should be cheaper. Anyway, we went somewhere else and had something to drink there.The Distelhof was also the first hotel where payment was required in advance. I've never experienced that before. I have always paid upon departure.

Thank you for the successful and relaxed celebration.The tent is ideal for celebrating with children, as there is enough space to play and run around both inside and behind the tent.We were allowed to set up the bouncy castle on the covered stage so that we didn't have to take it down during the short rain showers.The homemade cakes/tarts and the grill buffet were very tasty and everything was prepared as agreed.Particularly worthy of mention are the friendly and attentive service girls and the helpfulness of the boss himself.We would celebrate there again at any time.

Family celebration with overnight stay planned and experienced totally relaxed in a cozy atmosphere.Coffee and cake made in-house were very tasty, the service was always friendly and concerned about our well-being.The grill plate recommended by the host, with 3 grill options, was the best decision in the mid-summer temperatures and tasted excellent.We were extremely satisfied and can only recommend the hospitality for celebrations of up to 50 people.

Thank you very much, dear Dirk, I really enjoyed your stay. We were at Dirk's with 8 motorcycles and were warmly welcomed. He immediately made one of his garages available to us so that we could store our motorcycles as if it were a matter of course.Dirk our host is a great guy with his heart in the right place. Always strives to satisfy his guests and always has an open ear.I really enjoyed the food he prepared in the traditional Thuringian style.
