Excellent location, very quiet and close to walking trails. Wonderful host, who went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of different options. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come again.

Do you know the “Golden Glove”?A journey through time into a really (really long) closed past....!!!A creaking staircase,5 kg heavy and 1 meter high duvets, a bathroom in a retro orange to scream. Pure nostalgia: pictures/dolls/carpets/Dressers as far as the eye can see.Impressive, this livable museum.However, it was only thanks to the landlord that it became perfect. He conveys so much love and warmth to the well-being of his guests❤️Sensational!!!We'd love to come back.

Best guesthouse I've ever been to.Also better than any luxury hotel.From the start you feel very welcome and comfortable. You have the feeling of being at home. The host contributes a lot to this.We would be surprised by a varied breakfast even though we onlyExpected tea and coffee. You even had the opportunity to pack something to take with you.I'm looking forward to staying there again and recommend it to everyone.

What a great breakfast! You will really be pampered with the offer. The host asks in advance whether you would like a boiled egg or rather a scrambled egg with bacon. Once at the table in the morning, he brings an assortment of meats and cheese to your table. At the buffet table are the "unhealthy" things, as he so eloquently puts it (chocolate, honey, donuts, cornflakes, muëli...).On the host's recommendation, we had dinner at a nearby restaurant. That was also a hit! It reaffirms what we think: we love Germany!We stayed here one night and the rooms are exactly what they should be. A small bathroom with towels and a bed to sleep in. In addition, we had a view of the garden, more specifically a hill behind the house that was beautifully misty in the morning.If we are passing through again, we would definitely book here again.ps. Please note: you cannot pay by card.

Simple rooms, but great service of the friendly owner and the breakfast is amazing.Only a few car minutes from the nearest ski station and 10 car minutes from Winterberg. In walking distance there are a few restaurant options. A small play garden outside for the kids with a swing and slide.

Great accommodation, expectations were clearly exceeded. Rooms are certainly older, but always clean. Breakfast was unique, we were all thrilled. Very friendly contact in advance, Hans was very accommodating, helpful at all times and fulfilled all special requests. Location is very good (right on the Rothaarsteig), great hiking opportunities on the doorstep.Price/performance is absolutely right!! We would love to come back......

A very nice little family guesthouse in which we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was very rich and a very good basis for our subsequent hikes, which we started from there. We'll definitely be back. Thank you 😊👍

+The room was very clean and location of the house is just perfect! You wake up to a beautiful sunrise. It’s right on the hiking route to Kahler asten. Bärbel is an amazing host and she made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed the everyday breakfast, it was amazing. All over, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly and totally recommend it..
