The Südstadthotel is very centrally located in the immediate vicinity of the KW bridge. It is a simple hotel with very nicely decorated rooms. Special requests (such as an additional pillow) would be fulfilled immediately. In the bathroom we would have liked a shower screen instead of a shower curtain, but that's all we noticed. The Kar-Ali family was always there for us. We can't comment on breakfast as we didn't book it. The Café Kiez looks very inviting. Thank you for the wonderful time with you!

Very clean room. Check Inn was super flexible and quick. Spent one night there and can highly recommend it. The hotel porter was friendly. The south beach and the marine museum can be easily reached in just under 10-15 minutes. A self-service minibar is available at reception.

We had a wonderful stay at the Südstadt Hotel. You can just tell that here - especially in contrast to all the hotel chains - the family that runs it is passionate about what they do.The rooms are lovingly furnished and in a great style. As others have already written - yes, it's a bit noisy, but in the context of the great overall package here, that's something I'm happy to accept.The operators are simply incredibly nice and accommodating, be it at check-in, breakfast, or in the restaurant across the street. Both breakfast and restaurant are a clear recommendation. Very tasty food and great ambience at both. Vegans also get their money’s worth here.The location is practical - you can walk to both the beautiful Südstrand promenade and the city center/train station.I'll definitely come back here on my next visit to Wilhelmshaven!

Small, nice hotel with nice furnishings. Small comforts such as a kettle or shoehorn are also taken into account. Excellent breakfast and very nice staff. Something different but with heart.

The hotel does not have its own parking spaces, there are only a few public parking spaces along the streets.The employees are super friendly and helpful.Unfortunately, the hotel is an old building that is not insulated and is quite noisy. Although you get free earplugs as a guest, the situation is still suboptimal in this regard. In summer the rooms are hot and you can hear every sound from the street.Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, it does have the Kiez Cafe, which serves cakes in the afternoon.

Very friendly staff. In principle it was quiet, but unfortunately there was a construction site during my stay, but the hotel can't do anything about that. But to be on the safe side, free earplugs were provided, but I didn't use them because the noise pollution was limited. I think the location is really great, about 50 meters from the Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge, then you're right on the south beach. Due to its proximity, you also have a North Sea flair in the hotel room. You can hear and see the seagulls, etc. I didn't book breakfast because of my program, but that was also great. I'll definitely come back.

This is our first time here in Wilhelmshaven and we "got" the right hotel straight away. Very special, magical!! This hotel is made special by lovely people. There is a lot of love in every detail!! These colors!!!And the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired...Just to feel good!!The location allows many things to be reached on foot.I can recommend this hotel 100%.THANKS

The two of us stayed for one night on our cycling holiday and we really enjoyed it. The owner Mr. Kali was very concerned about our well-being. We were able to check in after 5 p.m. without any problems. Our bikes were locked in the basement.Room number 302 was pleasantly large and tastefully decorated. Everything was very clean and to our satisfaction. When we realized that we didn't have a remote control for the television, Mr. Kali immediately another. All of our requests and questions were addressed immediately.We also really liked the Südstadt Hotel because of its location. We were at the south beach within 5 minutes, which we thought was the busiest place (Saturday to Sunday). We were also at the train station and in the city center in 5 minutes.It was a bit noisy at night with the window open, but the hotel can't do anything about that. Overall, a great stay in a small but nice hotel with a café. In addition, Mr. Kali was at the L'orient restaurant down the street and was able to reserve a table without any problem.
