Good location, nice houseboats on site.Now everything from the beginning: I rented this houseboat with my girlfriend through Air BNB.Everything went well.There are more than enough parking spaces on site.The jetty that leads to the houseboats only has railings on one side, so it's not for those with wobbly legs.The houseboats are all well tied up and move very little to the right and left when you walk on them.Rather, the boat moves up and down.The design of the interior is very beautiful and the nature makes the whole thing a good place to relax.There is running water with a toilet and shower, a stove, and some dishes.That's just so rough.Unfortunately, the houseboats are very full of spiders, even inside.As you can see in the pictures, there are spider nests even on the curtains that have not been removed.If you roughly remove all the spiders in the morning, they will be back the next morning.The dishes weren't all nice and clean, like the glass in the picture.Some boards on board had to be replaced because they were bending a lot.But that's more the carpenter speaking in me.However, the property has boats that you can put in the water and cruise on the river free of charge. There are canoes, kayaks and pedal boats available. Life jackets are also available and can be removed free of charge.All in all, unfortunately very expensive for what was offered.I mean, I thought it was great that boats were free on site, but the accommodation had a high price for Air BNB standards and I assumed at least one clean boat.

Houseboat No. 4 is sufficient for 3 people, although the bed was too narrow for 2 people and we also used the couch. We didn't eat on site so we didn't have any experience cooking on the boat. Everything was there, but some things needed to be overhauled. Blinds not all working, some trim loose. Everything is a bit old and the attention to detail (decoration, care and cleanliness on the jetty, the pedal boats dirty, therefore not inviting) could be better maintained. It was our first experience and we would definitely try another one to have a comparison.

Houseboat 1 - small, but functional and well-maintained, with good WiFi reception and a terrace with a sunny side.For us, a weekend on the houseboat was a new experience.We had some difficulties getting there, but Mr. Kroll guided us to the location by phone and welcomed us personally.The WiFi is excellent in Hausboot 1.The facility is a bit cramped, but not uncomfortable. Everything you need is there.The best thing, however, is the view and the proximity to the water. You are surrounded by numerous ducks and coots and can enjoy the sun and nature on the small terrace. It is very quiet and relaxing on site.However, for any early birds or night owls, I recommend taking a flashlight as it gets really dark at night. The terrace of the houseboat is illuminated - but the path to the parking lot, the garbage cans and over the initial jetty to the houseboats is quite dark.We really enjoyed the weekend there.

Great short break in Wilhelmshaven. Vacation from the first second. The houseboats are clean, well-equipped and simply comfortable. Nice, quiet location. We'll definitely come back

No precise information. Definitely a different way to vacation. Idyllically located in a wild piece of nature. The body of water there, the "Maade", consists of all the ditches and show ditches, which are used to drain the surrounding fields and also collect rainwater from the sidewalks and streets. The local fishing club ensures that there are sufficient fish stocks. Please ask for further information on site.

An absolute feeling of happiness reached me...Just let your mind wander and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was our first time there and the owners were very warm and nice. It was also very nice for us because our dog was also welcome. Everything you need is on board. We would be happy to come back. ⚓🛟

We were lucky enough to book two nights and spent our wedding anniversary on a small, cozy houseboat.Small but very nice, everything you need is there. In the evening a glass of wine on the small terrace, completely private and yet in the middle of Wilhelmshaven.The contact was very friendly, the houseboat was clean and well-maintained, and even though we had the oldest houseboat, I would always try to book this one again. It has charm and is in the best locationWe will repeat this again.Thank you for so much relaxation directly in nature.

Super relaxing, we had houseboat number 1. Were very satisfied, the innkeeper is very motivated and very friendly. Great care is taken to ensure that you feel comfortable. You sleep very well there and everything is available for cooking. The small electric fireplace gives a touch of romance in the evening.

I am very disappointed.Mr. Kroll was unable to welcome us due to a short-term change in the corona regulations (unfortunately we are not yet fully vaccinated). We didn't see a cent of our money back, apart from the cleaning fees.Unfortunately, Mr. Kroll is not a bit accommodating. In my opinion it's not fair, everyone can see how they like. Nevertheless, I think it's important information.Even if we are fully vaccinated, it is no longer an option for us to book anything here again after such an experience.I'm still kind enough to give it 2 stars because everything seems to look great in the pictures. But what is the best holiday apartment without good service?
