Small hotel, not far from the water. Very nice staff, breakfast was okay as well as the rooms. Very steep and narrow stairs to get to the upper floor (no elevator) 🤔The frayed and washed out towels in the bathroom were an absolute negative point!!!🫢 In addition, the price-performance ratio was too high.

We were there for a spontaneous short vacation. After we had searched through the offers for holiday apartments and couldn't find anything right, we came across the hotel through a large travel agent. The big advantage for us was the family room with 2 rooms and real beds. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen very often in the hotel, but as a family we value it. The booking was easy via the website. The price on the hotel's own website was cheaper than that of the agent, but still relatively high. The hotel had called briefly before arrival to clarify how the journey was going (we had already mentioned that we would probably arrive later). We arrived at the hotel around 8:30 p.m. and were greeted very friendly. In general, the operating family is incredibly friendly and the entire service in the hotel is top notch. You will find an information terminal and a well-maintained (updated) list of restaurants nearby. There was also a bookcase and a refrigerator with snacks and drinks (trust fund) available so that you could quickly get a Coke at any time. The location is unbeatable. Basically the last cross street before the dike. Directly in life, yet somewhat set back and therefore calmer. There were plenty of parking spaces available, which unfortunately were also used by surrounding facilities. There was no parking space to be found when we arrived, but we were able to park in a parking lot owned by the operating family and there were no problems finding a space on the second day.At that time you could actually tell that the operating family was running their hotel with passion. Everyone was nice, above-average friendly and committed and in many small places you could tell that someone was trying to create a place to feel good. This really stood out.The hotel and rooms were very clean. The room and its furnishings were partly a bit older (you could see this in the bathroom), but everything was technically in order and very clean. The rooms were large and had everything you needed (small fridge, TV, fan). There were 4 real beds in 2 rooms and a large balcony with furniture and loungers. There was also enough storage space. The only suggestion for improvement: a mosquito net in the second room. Mosquitoes come regularly in autumn. We only had a mosquito net in one room. Unfortunately, the second room with access to the balcony had nothing. This means that you always had to rely on a window to ventilate both rooms and with daytime temperatures between 26 and 28 degrees, it was relatively warm in the room in the evening (although there was a fan available). We noticed this, but it actually didn't bother us.The pool in the hotel was a highlight for our kids! Everything was clean and tidy and the two of them had fun splashing around alone in the beautiful pool. The breakfast was good. There was a decent selection and small highlights (cakes, donuts), as well as freshly sliced bread. In addition to normal rolls, there were also pretzel rolls and mini croissants, as well as different types of bread. Salmon and tomato mozzarella were also on the buffet. Coffee and cocoa for the children were brought to the table. If you wanted, you could grab the dishes and eat at one of the tables on the terrace.Departure was uncomplicated. Thank you again for lovely hours. We have fond memories of the hotel and may come back soon.

Small hotel..perfectly located with indoor pool. Very nice welcome with explanations of everything important. We felt comfortable. It would be great if all windows could be blacked out. And the fact that the fly screen is installed where there is a blind somehow makes no sense. But that's "complaining" at a high level. It was a shame that there were no longer any large towels available at the pool in the evening. There is a fridge with drinks and a trust cash register. Perfect. We also loved the small bookcase.
