We spontaneously went by on Good Friday afternoon and asked for a free table in the evening. We were lucky and got a table. Service and food were great, highly recommended!

Fine cuisine, very good quality of the food.We had the plaice with fried crabs and boiled potatoes as well as the fish plate "Deichgräfin" (lemon sole, plaice and pollack with fried potatoes). Both were served with a salad plate beforehand. It tasted excellent. The East Frisian tea in a pot with Kluntje and cream was also delicious.

We were there for dinner, the menu posted online did not match the menu that was given to us. The food was still okay, but we were a little disappointed as we had been looking forward to the food on offer from the internet.

A really very good restaurant. A reservation is a good idea. We had Wangerländer Pannfisch and turkey schnitzel with pepper cream sauce and they were large portions at reasonable prices. What is particularly positive is that there is a children's menu that includes 11 dishes. And also something different than the usual dishes. The service was attentive and friendly. We would come here again.

We had dinner there. The waitresses were in livery, so they had a high level of service and were very accommodating. The food was very tasty. We had fish and turkey steak.

Good and courteous service, clean rooms, delicious food (breakfast and dinner). This house is definitely worth a visit, we recommend taking a look at the special offer menu. We took advantage of the “Very close, far away” offer. Half board including 1x 4-course fish menu in the evening, welcome champagne and all at an unbeatable price! We would like to come again!Update 2020: It's a shame that it's still not possible to provide guests with usable WiFi these days. The quality/speed wasn't even "usable" 10 years ago. Here you should consider whether you should perhaps spend a few euros more per month. Nowadays, usable WiFi is not only a luxury for age groups up to 20 years of age but should be standard.Update 2024:The rooms, the food and the service remain good. I would still recommend a visit. Fiber optics are now also available, with around 30 MBit available. It's nice that work has been done on this point! Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

After about 10 years we went out to eat again with fond memories.The disappointment was great, no table or service on the outside terrace possible because there is no staff.Unfortunately, the boss came across as rude when reserving a table.Our food was normal but nothing compared to back then, but we reserve the right not to eat there again, unfortunately.The waiters were very friendly.I can't rate the room.Heike a. do

An “all-round perfect” break for us! The comfort room is spacious and large, very clean (like the whole hotel!), nice balcony.The food is a dream, big compliments to the kitchen :-), and the breakfast really leaves nothing to be desired.The price-performance ratio is more than fair.We are already looking forward to our next stay.

The hotel is great and the location is good for many cycling tours. The breakfast is very good and I especially enjoyed the dinner. The waitresses are very attentive. I will book the house again on my next Friesland vacation.Just great

Ate in transit. Luckily we got a table for 2 people without a reservation. It was also very crowded during the week. The food (both ate fish) was great. We can fully recommend it.
