Regarding apartment 5: An overall tidy and well-located apartment on Wangerooge. The apartment, like the rest of the apartment building, is clean and well-equipped. We parents particularly liked the beach chair and the sauna. The only thing that needs to be pointed out when it comes to the dryer and the washing machine is that they are only in the basement and can be used for €3 per wash cycle. A little complicated since you can only pay with 50 cent coins. You can also notice that the apartment has been rented out several times in the meantime, so one or two of the furnishings are defective and should be replaced.

Great apartment and great location.

We rate apartment number 6 hereWe were looking for a large apartment with upscale furnishings AND a sauna on Wooge for a 16-day break in November / December 2022. In the end we decided on apartment 6 in Villa Verdi, which cost a good €1,400 in the low season. One of the decisive factors in the decision was the small desk in the second bedroom, as I worked from the island.The apartment has a very pleasant size and layout. We often go to Wooge and the facilities are really exceptional for the island of Wangerooge! The first apartment on Wooge with a fully equipped kitchen! Everything was there except for a casserole dish in the kitchen.Some of the technology is a bit outdated and sometimes too complicated to use. From day one, the underfloor heating in the bedroom didn't work because the valve was stuck. After some back and forth, a craftsman was sent in and he got it up and running. So in the second week of our stay we also had the opportunity to heat the bedroom. The sockets at the desk did not provide enough power to run a monitor. Luckily I had a triple socket with a long cable with me.The broken sauna was an absolute nuisance! A switch on the control has probably been defective for a long time and this was already known to us when we rented it. After some back and forth, we were offered a move to another apartment, but none of them had a desk, so we grudgingly accepted a refund. What is exciting in this context is that, according to the Frankfurt table, if the sauna is defective, 5% of the net rent must be reimbursed. However, a comparable apartment without a sauna would have cost €350 less for the rental period from the same provider. The offer to use another sauna was made to us, but unfortunately this did not materialize.CONCLUSION: Apartment: TOP, price performance: moderate, location: TOP, service: highly expandable.
