I can't understand the critical reviews. For me, this youth hostel is one of the best that I have visited in recent years: a super friendly, uncomplicated and helpful team, delicious food, clean and tidy rooms, a youth hostel that is pleasantly quiet and is also very centrally located - what more could you want?

I don't understand most of the reviews! I think the youth hostel is good if you want to see a lot of sights! The rooms are not the cleanest but comfortable. There are a few stains on some of the bed sheets, but if you report this to reception you will get another one! I think the dirt on the floor is mostly your own making, so you can't complain. The beds are not the most comfortable but you can sleep well on them. The service is nice and cleans the hallways a lot! The small negative point is that many employees speak almost or no German. The location is great, you can quickly get to the city center, train station and other exciting things. The dinner is super tasty but the food is usually lukewarm. You can't complain about the breakfast. In the buffet there is a lot of choice between before, main and after dinner. Overall it is good and you can visit once or again!👍

A very centrally located youth hostel. The staff is very friendly and always there when you need help. The cleanliness could be improved. There was dust under our beds that had definitely been there for a long time. Unfortunately we weren't informed that there was no hot food one evening, so we had to look for a restaurant and couldn't eat until late. Of course a bit stupid with two small children. However, the food in the youth hostel was excellent. Great selection at breakfast, great side dishes for the packed lunch and the dinner was always very balanced, varied and tasty. There was always salad, a selection of main courses with lots of vegetables and dessert. We would come again.

Stayed here in the youth hostel with a tour group over the weekend. Compared to other hostels, there was a very plentiful selection at the buffet in the dining room, which was surprisingly good in terms of taste. The rooms are of youth hostel standard, but even with bathrooms in the rooms they are in good condition. The entrance area on the ground floor invites you to linger together, even though it gets quite dark as the time goes on. Overall, a solid youth hostel.

The room was very nice, tidy and without crumbs and the good smell (like vomit) was also very pleasant. Breakfast with soft rolls and rotten Nutella was also very nutritious. Penny next to me was good too. The hostel looks very well maintained and modern from the outside ☺️ I won't come back again

The rooms are a cheeky thing. They are dirty, broken and stink. The staff is friendly but can't do anything. From the outside it looks like a prison. When it comes to food, nothing tastes good, that's why 1 star

First the good: It's pretty close to the shopping street, everything is within walking distance.The bad: Water is calcified, building looks like a prison=(, generally dirty, toilets okay, shower doesn't work, staff only feel like they're at reception, prices at the machine are terrible (2€ for a 500ml cola is way too expensive) , Coffee machine: 1€=1 coffee, BUT it felt like only water=( View only of factories, our windows didn't open! Overall I'm disappointed :(Edit 1: EHHHH, where do these spots come from😯🤮

I can't understand the negative reviews, everything was fine during my overnight stay. The only thing I complain about is the curtains aren't dark enough for me. There is a water dispenser in the lobby with unlimited water. It's strange to rate a youth hostel negatively because the kids can't use the tap. The breakfast buffet is good, I've had worse breakfasts in hotels. From rolls, bread, cheese, sausage, vegan spreads to jam, fruit and muesli, everything was available. There was also unlimited coffee, tea, juice and milk.The beds were good and not sagging, the showers were at ground level, I could have had fresh towels every day if I wanted, as well as the bedding. The hostel is centrally located but still quiet, and there is also a decent bike shed. So dear guests, if something is wrong then give the service the opportunity to improve it. But not opening your mouth in the hostel and then giving 1 star for it is unjustified. You can see this because the 1 star reviews come from profiles that have not rated anything before or after.

This youth hostel is relatively centrally located, which is why everything can be easily reached on foot. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but it's enough to sleep. There is actually everything you need here. Internet, good service etc. I can only recommend the youth hostel. The showers are also very good

Clean house with nice employees. We stayed as a family in a room for 4 people. Functional and clean.A youth hostel. I like it that way. Cheap travel ☺️I can't rate the location because we were only there for 1 night in transit.

Room dirty! Silverfish in the sink! No shower head! Rooms stink! Hair in bed! Food disgusting! Toilet not clean! Bugs and stains in the bed! Prison atmosphere! Water completely calcified!Overall not recommended and some people get rashes from the water!The location is the only good thing!Very bad!!!

A decent accommodation at a very good price-performance ratio. Rooms functional, but everything is available and above all clean. Food sufficient and fresh. Common areas neat and clean. Service always courteous and helpful.
