If you are looking for a modern facility, you have come to the wrong place. But if you are looking for a great family offer (several playgrounds, football field, children's vehicles, horse riding and much more), this is the right place for you.

We, 2 adults and 2 children, were able to enjoy a wonderful carriage ride over the dike with 2 great Frisians at short notice. I can't write anything about the apartments and rooms because we didn't stay overnight. However, there is a nice, large playground with lots of different play equipment.Many thanks again to the carriage driver who told us a lot of interesting information about the region during the journey. It was a fantastic experience.

I stayed in an apartment for 4 nights with my daughter and dog. The whole yard is very well maintained. All the employees were very, very nice. Super great children's program. My daughter especially enjoyed horseback riding. And generally lots of space to run around and play. Very family friendly and pet friendly.It was a nice time. Thank you.We'd love to come back.

Fantastic for families with children (not just those who love riding)!! The children play, ride, romp around, are in the fresh air all day long, the parents join in or relax in the beach chairs or on the terrace.Beautiful, very tidy and clean yard, apartments well maintained and very well thought out!! Varied children's program, very friendly service, we will definitely be back!Thank you very much for the great time

Unfortunately the room booked via booking.com was of a lower standard. Mattress sagging, window cannot be opened, lamp broken, room so narrow that you constantly bump into the bed, no chair, should be barrier-free according to booking, room was on the 2nd floor under a roof. Difficult for an elderly disabled woman. Despite asking for repairs on the first day, nothing was repaired. The fire alarm flashed all night, not fixed.The only positive thing was the breakfast and the nice young man in reception who, thank God, dragged the suitcases to the second floor.Location good, horse farm very interesting, rooms: no go

There are plenty of parking spaces, perfect with children, staff friendly and helpful, rich breakfast, tips for excursions etc. every day, shared kitchen also available and well equipped. Pony rides possible for children, playroom,...Unfortunately there is no elevator - please keep this in mind if you have walking difficulties.

It was our first time at the Friesland Stern 🌟 It was a great vacation, the staff is super friendly, they try to do everything so that you are happy! WiFi is pretty bad but a solution was found!Our apartment was clean and functionally furnished, but I lacked a little attention to detail! The weekly offers were well organized and there was something for young and old!The farm is outside, but you can quickly get to Schillig and Horumersiel! We loved the nature/dog beach!We'd love to come back!

We really liked it here at the Frieslandstern.There are really a lot of horses and ponies on the farm.All without exception trusting and friendly.The Frisians are particularly impressive.Adorable: the little foal Catia.Holiday apartment:Unfortunately, the lower bathroom needs a bit of renovation, as does the upper one, which is very small (only shower and toilet, no sink, that's in the room).All employees are friendly, reception is particularly helpful and niceRiding offers are very nice, unfortunately not possible every day, but with friendly helpers.Breakfast great.Organization very good.Overall we really liked it.We would love to come back soon.

We had a nice few days of vacation with our 10 year old boy and our dog.We rented a two-room apartment. However, the accommodation is really limited to two rooms with a large wardrobe and a bathroom.The equipment is pragmatic and okay: a double bed, a sofa bed, an armchair with a stool, a SMART TV, a 40 l refrigerator and a shelf.There is a shared kitchen one floor above. (We didn't use it.)However, I would have been happy to at least have a kettle in the room, so you could quickly make yourself a cup of tea in the evening or have a brewed coffee in between.BUT: Everything is spotlessly clean!!!Very good too: riding lessons for children are included upon registration and, as far as I know, carriage rides too. The sauna and wellness area can also be used at no extra charge.The entire complex is a bit old and not everything really invites you to linger.So it's very rural and rustic.But the breakfast buffet is extremely good and generous!The family atmosphere and the friendliness of all employees in the team are particularly noteworthy.Very good for families with small children. If you need a little more space, you would have to rent a large apartment.If you're looking for comfort and luxury, it's better to look elsewhere.

Here children and parents have the opportunity to spend a relaxing holiday.The rooms are simple but functional. Everything you need is there. The yard is really nice for small and large children. Small requests are addressed quickly and easily. We'd love to come back👍👍👍

We stayed at the Frieslandstern for 3 nights. Our apartment was completely sufficient, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. For my 4 year old son it was paradise. In the morning there is pony riding, a great breakfast and later either activities, in the playground or on the beach. The proximity to the sea, approx. 3km, is also great.

We had a lovely time there with our 1.5 year old child. Our room was definitely in need of renovation. The changing table and towel racks were so loose that we couldn't use them. However, the room was really clean and the shared kitchen is new and well equipped. For our little ones, the large playground, the indoor play area and the proximity to the beach were enough entertainment; for the older ones, the horses and various craft activities were certainly well received. The breakfast was quite good (except for the baked rolls for me as a baker) and offered a large selection. All the employees were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. The green areas are and are well maintained, as I said, the rooms would certainly do with new tiles, fittings and paint. I don't know where normal hotels are currently priced, but for the price I might have expected something more modern.

We had a great long weekend at Frieslandstern. I arrived with my two children (11 & 6) and were immediately greeted very warmly. The hotel room was clean and functionally furnished. The breakfast buffet had a large selection and something for every taste. Both children really enjoyed the riding lessons and the riding instructor does a great job!! Children and young people get their money’s worth here. The playground is large and offers some opportunities to run around. There are always creative offers at lunchtime for the kids or baking stick bread together in the evening. In just a few minutes you can reach the beach by car or bike. We really liked the natural beach in Schillig, you can watch the sunset there.We will come back!

We have already been to the Frieslandstern twice. We had a great time both times. Especially the riding lessons and dealing with the great horses. My children would have preferred to stay. Keep it up.
