Great pure biker guesthouse, everything a biker needs, clean room, everyone has a bed to sleep in, great breakfast and traditional cuisine in the evening, there was a barbecue on Saturday and we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back.

I am writing here about the experience we had during our stay in May 2024. So firstly, the booking and contact with the operator went smoothly and easily.The location of the guesthouse was perfect for us as motorcyclists. The rooms were clean and are described on the site as rustic; we see a need for investment here, especially in the bathrooms. The equipment there is getting quite old and should be renewed. The fact that we had to take lukewarm or cold showers several times doesn't work in our opinion. This was mentioned several times, but people didn't really want to believe us, finally a guest operator went into the boiler room and discovered that the flow temperature of 38°C wasn't really enough to supply a property of this size with warm water and heating. For meals, there was good home cooking in the evening and a breakfast buffet. Some fruit as a side dish would be good for breakfast. We were also very briskly informed by the landlord that it was not welcome to drink our own drinks in the outdoor area (parking lot), which was incomprehensible to us. After all, we had booked an overnight stay and had no obligation to buy the drinks on offer. All in all, we had 4 great days in terms of touring with great weather and great routes. Our impression of the pension is that this is a company that is geared towards maximum profit with the lowest possible effort, and if something like this is mentioned, the operators cannot handle the criticism.Accordingly, we will not be coming back, and as I said at the beginning, these are the experiences we have had. Everyone can make their own assessment.

Great biker guesthouse with everything a biker needs. Clean rooms, good home cooking and breakfast! The hospitality of the owners Barbara and Manfred is special! We had a great time with you, we felt comfortable!!!

Nice first contact with problem-free booking. Rooms are extremely simply furnished and are really getting old. I would definitely not book the flat rate of 25 euros per day for so-called half board again.

Great accommodation for bikers who don't expect luxury. Rooms are a bit older but the most important point. Clean! Super friendly owners who didn't mince words either. Breakfast is great and in the evening after a long tour there is also something nice to eat and there is an in-house bar. There is a roof for motorcyclists and some cleaning supplies are also provided. Nice and quiet night with very little traffic. Price/performance is completely okay here. Thanks to the BH29 team and hopefully see you again next year. Stay healthy 🙂

The rooms are very old - cleanliness was okay, sanitary facilities vary massively from room to room - €42 per night for a single room is not too expensive, but €128 per night for a four-bed room borders on usuryEvening food was great on both evenings (goulash and grill)Bottled beer for 3.5€ (0.5l) is a bit expensive but still within reason.The boss herself is a great woman, a little cheeky here and there, but otherwise very warmIn my opinion, the boss doesn't work at allAs a GUEST I want to feel welcome and not be perceived as a nuisance or seen as a cheater (because of 1.5€ (!!))I would also like to have reasonably good air quality in a common room and not be brushed off with the words: "It's our shop and we decide when the window is opened" - that's just one of the many small statements that really pissed us off

We stayed here for a weekend with our small motorcycle club based on a recommendation and can only say it was great! If you expect a 5 star hotel for €32, you are definitely wrong here. The accommodation and the grounds are lovingly furnished, the owners are very friendly and open and the prices for food and drinks are below average. Everything is neat and cleanand that's what matters. For food we were given home-made home-cooked food fresh from the grill. At its finest! Nothing with TK as the previous speaker wrote here. In any case, the ideal accommodation for a biker. We will come again.

I recently visited the biker guesthouse with my friends (we organize a Harz tour once a year) for the first time following a recommendation. Great location, many biking hotspots in the immediate vicinity. Very nice and courteous management, there are tour tips on site - I have often been to the Harz, but these good routes had eluded me until now. You arrive here, receive a warm welcome, are lavishly catered for in the morning and evening for a great price and meet other bikers from all regions. It was the first time this weekend, but definitely not the last time we stay there!

Ideal for bikers (motorcycles)! The guesthouse rooms are lovingly furnished and clean. At the end of the day you can either sit comfortably in the pub under the main building or outside in the beer garden by the fire barrel. Absolutely suitable for biker parties. And I've never gone home hungry😉.

I was there with my nephew (who drives a motorcycle himself) about two and a half years ago, before Corona. The hostess was superficially friendly. We met other motorcyclists there and sat around the fire bowl with them in the evening, which was also the best part of the stay. I just found the fact that it said we should talk more quietly in the evenings strange for a "party location". We had a normal conversation, there wasn't even any music playing, but oh well. The room is pretty worn out, the bathroom is musty. The dinner was frozen, but ok, just not for that price. Drinks slightly overpriced, but that's how it was. The breakfast buffet was OK. The highlight was when other guests came in. They asked if they could add more cold cuts or boiled eggs, and the rude answer came: "The others have already eaten it all up." Not good for the price.Last but not least, I paid for a beer in advance for a good friend who arrived there in the evening after we left. Unfortunately he never received the beer...but only in passing.

A real idyll. If you want to feel at home, you should stop there. Super rustic pub, a cute garden, delicious food and friendly people. The rooms are prepared with love. We slept well in the rooms. Real resin feeling. Barbara is super warm and responds to all wishes. You won't find it more personal anywhere. Absolutely recommend.

Barbara is really great. Really family friendly. The food is rich. Breakfast and dinner on request. Good home cooking. Nothing frozen food. Everyone should stop and take a look. There are parking spaces for motorcycles. All in all good. Everyone should be able to form their own opinion. So not everything is good, but great. That's why I give it four stars 🌟. I'll be back
