We were at the restaurant for dinner and a meeting. Very friendly service and delicious, rich food. This is what we call good home cooking. Recommended.

Hotel is modern and newly designed. There are sufficient free parking spaces available. Breakfast is okay and the sauna area is clean and nicely designed. It is somewhat strange that a fee is charged if you use the sauna earlier. Rooms have been renovated, there is still room for improvement in the bed and mattress. Price is okay. Room 3.0 stars / Breakfast 3.0 / Price 3.0 / Staff 3.5 / Cleanliness 3.5 Solid good midfield, but generally recommended. Overall 3.2 stars

We were there to eat goose. All in all it was very good. Jackets were accepted. Beautifully decorated table, great ambience. Friendly and courteous service. A small greeting from the kitchen in the form of a leek soup in a small glass. Then the goose with potatoes , bread dumplings and red cabbage as well as baked apple. For dessert, vanilla ice cream, chocolate brownie, apple compote with cinnamon.For my taste, the soup and the main course were quite bland. However, you can add more seasoning. It's clear that you don't over-season, the tastes are not the same. But there was a lot missing here. The dessert tasted very good. The chocolate brownie was quite dry, but otherwise top.Let's get to the price. €30 for the goose. €7 for the dessert. I think a reasonable price. Dessert is almost cheap.The portion of the goose was okay. Rather average. A second one would certainly have been suitable. In that case I would recommend a full goose for €8 more. :-)

We went to St. Martin's goose dinner with friends and, to make things easier, we also stayed overnight there. The food was great, each goose is carved at the table by the chef and is very tasty. …

We have eaten at the Vorsfelder Hof several times and have always been satisfied with the quality and service. During our last spontaneous visit in September/October 2023, we found out about the “goose fed” offer based on previous good experiences. After we were positively informed that there would also be plenty of goose on offer in 2023, we made reservations for 10 people on December 9th, 2023. It should also be noted that the corresponding entry in a planner/calendar that appears to have been specially designed for this purpose was made by the owner's son in the presence of my wife and me in the counter area.My wife's family is traveling with four people from their hometown of Dessau. Together with my family we will visit the Vorsfelder Hof on December 9th, 2023 at 7 p.m., looking forward to a nice family evening with great food and good drinks.The big surprise then comes in the dining room when the owner's son informs us that there is no reservation, that they are fully booked and that they cannot offer us an alternative. Despite the mistake on the part of the Vorsfelder Hof, both my wife and I remained friendly and objective throughout, as we are aware that mistakes can happen.The crowning achievement, however, was what we saw as the son's "cheeky" reaction with his literal statement: "Aha, despite the fact that the reservation was made a long time ago, you can remember an entry!"His facial expressions underlined our feeling that he probably meant we were talking nonsense.But then we got the great offer from him that we could also take a goose to go (irony off).Would have been great too since we were all on foot.Ultimately we left the Vorsfelder Hof without having accomplished anything.A very big thank you goes to the Levis pizzeria in Vorsfelde, who gave us great food and ultimately offered a pleasant end to the evening.THANK YOU SO MUCH SANDRO🥰P.S.:An offer of compensation from the Vorsfelder Hof would have been desirable. We were there for dinner. Very friendly staff. Family atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. The food came very quickly. Any special requests were addressed quickly and easily and they were all fulfilled. The taste was great, just like at home with grandma. The portions were also plentiful. We had pre-ordered roast goose for 7 people. There was extra sauce, a dream. A large selection of desserts, something for everyone. We would love to come back.

A very cozy, somewhat antiquated hotel in a quiet square and with a delicious breakfast. Only recommended.

Last night I went to the Vorsfelder Hof for Christmas dinner with colleagues.Overall, everything was okay, but I thought the portion was a bit small for a plate meal.However, I was surprised at the billing.In my opinion I had something to pay 12 euros for the vegetarian dish. However, I was then allowed to pay 15.50 euros.This morning I looked at the invitation that my colleagues had sent me and they said it was 12.90 euros for the dish.That's not a big difference, but that simply can't happen.That's why I will avoid the Vorsfelder Hof in the future.

Everything satisfactory

We were here with 3 couples on St. Martin's Day to "eat our fill" and felt completely at home.Super nice and quick service, very good and tasty food.Since we also stayed here, we spent a very nice time at the bar after eating, with delicious drinks and very nice conversations, also with other guests and the service staff.The rooms are simple but clean and nothing is missing.Our very successful stay ended with a delicious breakfast.We would definitely like to come back.
