Simple bed and breakfast with a super nice landlord, cozy breakfast and common room with a living room feel in the entrance, the rooms are functional, great breakfast. Perfect for short stays.

The service deserves more than 5 stars. An absolutely accommodating host!The B & B is perfect for an overnight stay to walk the Hexenstieg. Bathroom is newly renovated, my room was lovingly designed. The breakfast had everything you need for breakfast. A very clear recommendation for this accommodation.

To start with, great guy that Richard! I called in advance to see if there was a possibility that my motorcycle could be housed and sure enough, it could be parked in its own garage! The room was for 1 person so a bit small but neat and clean. The shower was very neat and had good hard pressure, so it was nice to wake up under a warm shower. Breakfast was fine and the coffee tasty. An egg with bacon was fried especially for me upon request, so my motorcycle trip couldn't have gone better. Big kudos to this man!There may be people who find it old and noisy, but the place and price are exactly right for that, all in all I thought it was a very nice stay!

Nice and cheap B&B. Room ok, totally sufficient for one night. Owner super friendly and service top. The breakfast is at the level of hotels. I'm thrilled for the price and service 👍🏻

Our room was small but very cozy with very comfortable mattresses. Unfortunately, the toilet in the bathroom was built in such a way that people over 1.70 meters have to sit at an angle. We would still come back, but wouldn't book a room in the attic. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was rich and sufficient. The balconies on the rooms (first floor) were very large and for the summer there is a terrace and a pool in the garden. Therefore also highly recommended. We were also allowed to use the fully automatic machine if we wanted to drink tea or coffee in the afternoon. We only stayed at the hotel to sleep and have breakfast because we were visiting our family in town over the holidays. As soon as we find time to visit Altenau again, we will stay in this hotel again ☺️☀️.

I spent the New Year in Altenau and stayed in this B&B. The accommodation is well maintained, the host is super nice, tries very hard, just as you would hope. My single room with a balcony was small but I found it very comfortable and absolutely perfect for me. The breakfast offers everything you need, I personally didn't miss anything. Absolute recommendation :)

The room was small and romantic. Even though the house as a whole is simply a residential building and the hallway urgently needs to be renovated, everything else was 1a. The landlord is very friendly, uncomplicated and accommodating.

We had a charming 😍room in white/rose, the beds were extremely comfortable, the breakfast was very rich and delicious 😋 Mr. van Adrighem, the hotel owner, was very friendly, attentive and loving. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.LG Astrid and Martin 🙋♀️ 🙋♂️

Very friendly host! Rooms very clean, bathroom newly renovated. Large balcony and access to the pool in the garden. The thermal baths are only about 5 minutes away from the guesthouse. A clear recommendation!
