We had a really cute room at Christmas time. The arrangement worked very quickly. We called in the evening and got a room straight away, even though it was Boxing Day. All other guesthouses in the area canceled us. The landlady is incredibly nice and helpful.

Small guesthouse right next to the castle in Birstein. Of course the walls are old, but the rooms are very clean and the young lady is very nice!We felt comfortable, thank you!

Unfortunately the house and rooms are pretty run down. Loose sockets, water and mold stains, old inventory thrown together, beds and table painted gray. There was a musty smell in the whole house. …

Unfortunately the house and rooms are pretty run down. Loose sockets, water and mold stains, old inventory thrown together, beds and table painted gray. There was a musty smell in the whole house.When the outside temperature was 30 degrees, the beds were equipped with thick duvets and warm flannel bed linen (also musty smell). There was a curtain missing from the window.The bicycle storage room was the extremely messy, dirty hallway of the family who lived there. The young lady who welcomed us couldn't even say hello and goodbye the next morning. Unfortunately there was no other available accommodation in the area. We would have left the house immediately.Unfortunately, Birstein doesn't really have anything to offer in terms of cuisine.The three restaurants that were open within walking distance were either smoky, dingy or takeaways.

Unfortunately, this guesthouse is no longer maintained. Mold and water stains on the walls could be seen in both the hallway and the room.

Simple but very clean guesthouse. The landlady's son welcomed us very nicely, had already prepared electricity to charge the e-bikes and even brought our luggage to our room. He also provided us with information about the history of the house and the castle next door, as well as tourist tips. The breakfast was rich. We recommend!

Simple little accommodation at a low price. The rooms are equipped with everything you need and are quite comfortable. Unbeatable price in the region. Cleanliness is definitely a 10 out of 10, especially in the bathroom everything is super clean.

I am a cyclist and stayed there overnight on August 9th, 2021. It's a simple, small guesthouse, but everything is super clean and top. Of course the insulation isn't exactly the best, but it's normal for an old building. The bikes are safely locked in an adjoining room. The boss is super nice and very helpful. And the breakfast is more than sufficient. All together, nothing is missing.

Located a little away from Bad Orb. A small, clean hotel with a good, plentiful breakfast. The operator is very nice and accommodating.
