We weren't happy that we were canceled two days before our arrival, so we didn't get quick accommodation because of that. If you do this with everyone then you don't have to be surprised if you don't have any guests, in any case we can't recommend the hotel.

One of the worst nights of my life. There was an incredibly loud party in the house all night long, with no regard for the customers. The house is fully “automated”, so no on-site monitoring, no contact person. Absolutely avoid!

I stayed here with my husband for a few days.The rooms are very unkempt and have no cleaning supplies or trash cans. And this despite the fact that they are supposed to be “holiday apartments”. There were tons of dead flies everywhere on the window sills, the carpet was dirty, the pillow was stained.The refrigerator in the hallway smelled awful and there was rotten food in it. The former inn appears abandoned and dirty. There is no one present, you are totally on your own. The front door is open day and night.The TV doesn't work either.All in all, unacceptable conditions. It's a disgrace to charge such a high price for an overnight stay!!Furthermore, the guesthouse is completely remote from the nearest towns. You have to drive about 20 minutes to go shopping or eating somewhere.So far the worst accommodation we have ever seen. I can only warn against booking a room there.

We got there and there was nothing to eat because the restaurant was already closedIt's closed for a longer period of time. Breakfast couldn't take place either because there's no one on site. You have to tell the guests that, because you get there on your bike around 7 p.m. and are looking forward to dinner and then there's nothing.By the way, this applies to the entire town of Hundsbach.You can only get something there if you drive about 5km to Hundseck. The restaurant at the ski lift is highly recommended.Except for staying overnight in the room, not recommended.

My mother and her acquaintances stood in front of closed doors for two hours, and the same thing happened to the Dutch. My mother, who is 89, needed a doctor because of the heat. Then after Langen they reached the innkeeper by phone and wanted their money back, they wouldn't get it back .I would like to warn everyone in advance that they are doing this trip for free. We learned from locals that people have often felt this way. So book something else, you won't get in, the journey will be free.I accidentally clicked on a star at the top, of course not one. I would like to warn people again. After a long journey, the doors remained locked. And more people have felt the same way, I can't get over it. I feel so sorry for my mother.

This is most unwelcome Gasthaus I’ve seen in the Black ForestFirst of all arriving at 5pm, opening the door, no light on, no reception, just a dark corridor with some locker with key inside, then self checked in.Going further to our room upstairs, while everything seems to be left 3 month ago, dust and insect on the floor.Everything looked so old and rotten, with musty smellFinally getting to the room, and what a surprise, a old school type of room with a moodiness smell, dust and insect. (See pictures)We also had a huge fridge in the room not even plugged completely uselessJust seems that the room haven’t been used and clean for a while !No restaurant, no breakfast nothingAll of this for 83€ a night, never ever again !

We had the suite in the house - very nice!And our friends in the double room also found the rooms very appealing.The food was also very tasty!We'd love to come back. The location is simply fantastic.

The hotel is a real gem with cozy rooms renovated and furnished with taste.There is no range for mobile phones, which is great for me.The owners are wonderful people and the cuisine is excellent.
