The new hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location was really great for us for hiking, as the walk to the thermal baths and the restaurant in the evening wasn't too far.Our room was clean, but I found it a little less well equipped for two. There was a closet to hang things, but no space for clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases, but we had no place to put them, so they were on the floor. The mattresses were really very soft, we prefer them harder. The bathroom was so small that we hit our knees on the opposite wall on the toilet. There were also no sufficient opportunities to hang the towels up to dry.It's very noisy. As soon as someone walks in the hallway you can hear it. When the dog owners go out, whether the hosts or guests, there is often one or two disturbances and possibly even barking.The breakfast was a bit poor, the jam was allotted, so we scrounged our way through it at the neighboring table. You then had to ask the hosts in their private rooms whether something could be added.

We stayed here after the first stage of the Harzer Hexenstieg. Extremely friendly host. He puts in a lot of effort and it seems very important to him that his guests have a good time. It is very clean and much larger than it looks from the outside. A lot of things have been modernized inside and overall everything is up to date. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the guesthouse. Especially for hikers!If the opportunity arises, I'd be happy to do it again! Thank you!

Really very nice little guesthouse with excellent service and top price-performance ratio.Spontaneously got a room with a dog. With an outlet directly through the terrace door into the garden.- Rooms kept clean- Modern facilities- Breakfast tailored to the wishes expressed during the lectureThe operators know the hiking trails in every direction and seem as if they have walked all the paths at least once. Valuable information even if you think you know the Harz.If you're looking for a fly in the ointment, all you have to do is mention that it took a whole 20 seconds. lasts until the shower heats up from mountain stream to lava. But you can also take a normal warm shower.Will definitely come back!

I slept in the Pension Harzkieker for four nights (hiking short break).Very nice hosts, great breakfast, great room (room sockets equipped with USB ports), quiet environment. I slept very well. Was very satisfied and would like to come back. Greetings to Altenau

Overnight accommodation with a dog is also possible for one night, very nice double room with a great price/performance ratio! The next morning we also have a delicious breakfast, tailored specifically to our wishes!Very nice hosts!We'll definitely come back!

We spent a great, very relaxing weekend here! Very kind and warm hosts and cozy rooms with everything you need.Requests were asked at breakfast and there is a very good coffee machine - we were full all day.The guesthouse is very well located for all activities.Highly recommended, we will definitely come back :).

We spent 2 days (nights) in the guesthouse with 4 people and were very impressed with the service. One of us had a birthday.A birthday table was set for breakfast.In the evening we were also allowed to use the breakfast room for ourselves.The rooms are simple but everything is there.The hosts are very friendly and open to any conversation.We enjoyed the stay very much.
