We stayed here once on our Saaleradweg tour.The two innkeepers were very friendly and cooperative. We were allowed to bring the bikes into the house. The breakfast, not a buffet but pre-prepared plates, was good, perhaps an orange juice would have been nice.The room was very spartan and small. The shower/toilet area was also OK. We had rooms at the back. Rooms at the front, the house is located directly on a busy street, may be noisy.The house is located directly on the Saale cycle pathWhat wasn't ok was the price, 116€ for the double room with breakfast is about 20-30€ above the usual prices for comparable accommodation in other places.

We had two rooms. It was clean. I felt like I was traveling back in time to the “good” old days. It is not Western standard. A plastic slatted door to the bathroom was actually unnecessary. Well, it worked for one night.Price is disproportionate. A breakfast table was prepared. Also a bit overpriced for €13.50. Only cash payment possible.

I'm really pleasantly surprised! A wonderful restaurant with fantastic food and a friendly landlady. I had ox cheeks, they were super tender. My friend had a sizable Wiener schnitzel. At the end there was apple strudel 😋We would love to go back here!

I don't know why people complain about the temperature, the presentation of the food and the quantity of drinks.We have been guests at the restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, portions are sufficient and none of us miss a salad. If you want to eat salad, you should order it too!Drinks are great, especially the homemade lemonades.Since summer there has also been a great beer garden where you can sit comfortably. Very nicely done.Parking spaces are also available, currently even with a charging station for electric cars :-)All around....great restaurant in Bad Dürrenberg with good service and reasonable price-performance ratio. We always enjoy coming back.

We were invited here for a birthday followed by bowling. At first it was cold in the dining room. So feeling good is different. The facility is beautiful and lovingly decorated. Even though everything has become more expensive these days, unfortunately the price performance doesn't match here at all. The glass of Lillet Wild Berry we ordered was only half full. That is not how it works. And unfortunately the food was carelessly prepared. Can't you make some fresh salad as a side dish? And charging 2.50 euros for changing the supplement is quite a lot. Likewise, the hot drinks that were ordered because it was so cold were unfortunately not hot. It was a lot colder at the bowling alley. You could say that you're warming up, but some of the guests were older and didn't play along. And even for us as teammates, the room temperature was uncomfortable.We still had a nice evening, but we wouldn't come here again. And the guests who slept here were also totally disappointed. The price performance doesn't match at all. You can't charge such prices for a room like that and then also charge for breakfast. That's pretty cheeky.We all have to work hard for our money, so it hurts even more when you get rid of it under such circumstances.

Unfortunately I can't rate the rooms because I haven't seen them. We were invited to a party, the food was really tasty, the drinks, especially the fizzybrew, were amazing. And the service was super friendly too. I can definitely recommend it for eating out. As I said, unfortunately I didn't see the rooms.

We are 4 biker couples and had 4 double rooms, a table for 8 people and the bowling alley from 8 p.m. for the first weekend in September 2023. We booked the whole thing 13 weeks before the start of the trip. We were canceled 4 weeks before the start of the trip. Because suddenly a company has booked. The eight of us find this an absolute disgrace. And we think you should know that. Unfortunately, you cannot rely on any agreement.

The operating couple was very nice and attentive. Food for a celebration was very tasty and plentiful. You can also do sports at the bowling alley on site. Toilets were very clean. A visit is highly recommended...
