Very nice hostess. Rooms are furnished differently. Everything clean. Perfect location close to the bus stop. It's no problem to go to the guesthouse next door for breakfast. The staff there is also very competent and friendly. Breakfast buffet is very plentiful but sustainably designed. Everything (butter, jam, yoghurt etc) is prepared in small or even larger preserving jars. All in all, our stay at Villa Rana was very nice.

The price-performance ratio for this apartment was simply not right at all. Spartan equipment in the kitchen, few crockery and cutlery, no kettle. Basic things were missing and we had to get toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwashing liquid and sponge ourselves. We had to separate the garbage, which is a very good thing in itself, but the containers for it were just there in the room. It was dusty everywhere, with some spider webs and I can't imagine the apartment was thoroughly cleaned the day we moved in. An additional final cleaning fee of 65 euros will be charged. It smelled unpleasant and musty everywhere, especially the bed, and we didn't like using it. There was only a fly screen in front of one of the windows, which wasn't even firmly installed, but rather loosely ajar. Locking the apartment cannot be called safe - at any time someone can push the door, not come in immediately, but look in and scare you.The hostess was ok, but I had the feeling that she either didn't have much experience or that the guests' well-being wasn't a top priority. For example, she was in the room while we were away and warmed up the refrigerator. Something like that is not appropriate.The apartment itself is nice and the location is good, but definitely not worth this price and I will never book it again. Such an experience can ruin your vacation.

We felt very well looked after and everything was just right for us. We had the room "Mariposa" and it was really nice, cozy, the bed was a dream and generally the location is just great. The shops, the train station, the lake and gas stations are a maximum of 10 minutes away on foot.We'll definitely be back.

Our room was in top condition, generously sized, well equipped and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. You have a great view of the large, beautiful garden. All in all a fantastic stay! The owner was very nice and helpful. We'll be back :)

We gave my wife a short vacation on Lake Constance and booked the “Seerose” room.Price/performance: borderlineLocation: narrow residential development in the city center area. Not for people who love peace and quiet. Unfortunately, guests are not allowed to use the house's (very well-kept) garden.The reason we aren't coming back is clearly the boss. You can't move through the house without her darting out of her private rooms. On the first day, in her opinion, the refrigerator was set too cold. On the second day we put our street shoes on a doormat in front of the room door. )(The room is covered with a very light carpet, which we wanted to protect.) This bothers the other guests and we would like to please clear it into the room. In our absence there was an inspection tour of the room. Beds were not made or vacuumed

We were really completely satisfied and felt very comfortable from start to finish. What should be highlighted is the great natural and idyllic surroundings. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The rooms were of course super clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was an absolute dream!
