We drove to this campsite with good courage following a recommendation.Arrival:When we arrived there were other guests at the reception. From the junior manager's stern look, we decided it would be better to wait on the bench in front of the property. After these guests have checked inwas finished, we entered the “Holy Rooms”. At the same time, the boss disappeared from the registration area behind a “private” door.We then rang the bell twice within a minute of each other and knocked on the “private door” several times. After a good 5 minutes the door opened after another knock and the boss said very decisively that you could also ring the bell. When we intervened that we had done this twice, he said that he was allowed to go to the toilet sometimes and that he wouldn't take his cell phone with him there. When he arrived at his workplace, he sheepishly confirmed that we had rung the bell twice, which he himself probably took as an apology for his appearance. After he very dominantly explained the rules of conduct with the help of his highlighter, we paid the fee for camping and went to the designated campsite. It was very difficult for us to find a horizontal surface to set up the tent there. Since we saw huts on the way to the campsite and the weather forecast also predicted thunderstorms, we asked reception about the possibility of rebooking and the costs.Because of my mere presence next to other guests checking in, I was greeted with the words: “May I please register here in peace?” complimented from reception.Stay:Key deposit €30 for a hut with the most primitive furnishings, very strange! It also takes a lot of getting used to that the washrooms are locked between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.Especially if the operator oversleeps in the morning and the washrooms cannot be accessed until 7:40 a.m.There was no mention of an apology or even compensation.Departure:Returning the key with a refund of the deposit with a lady was uncomplicated and ok.The junior manager was not able to say goodbye to us due to the empties loading work on the beverage trucks present. No eye contact, nothing.Summary:Because of the unfriendly, extremely dominant, even as a junior boss, no vacation was possible and never again.

Place only 2/3 lit. Clean toilet and shower. Not suitable for disabled people. Fresh rolls too hard, old ones overbaked.

The weather was very bad when we were here and the campsite was almost empty, but a well-maintained campsite with neat lawns, very nice and clean sanitary facilities, friendly service and a nice manager, lots of walking and cycling opportunities.

We stayed there for 2 nights and will definitely come back.Elbe cycle path and bus stop right in front of the door, Meißen approx. 4km away. When you check in there is information and maps about the region. Rolls can be ordered and if you have forgotten something, there is a shelf with the essentials. The space and the sanitary facilities are well maintained, the size of the pitch and the location are great. Quietly located despite the B6 in front of the door. Anyone who has traveled to Nordic countries will also be able to cope with the unisex toilets, an ideal solution for small spaces.Until next time 👍PS The restaurant next to the CP has unfortunately been closed for 5 years, so pack some pasta or cycle 15 minutes to Meißen.

The nearby city of Meissen is very beautiful. We liked the campsite in Rehbocktal at least as much. From the location to the very friendly staff to the cleanliness of the almost new medical facilities, everything is perfect here.On this way, thank you again for the pleasant stay.
