The hotel is located on the market square so it is very central. There is another bar/restaurant downstairs. It's nice to sit outside here. But it has the disadvantage that it is loud for a long time and you have to close the windows to sleep. The rooms are modernly furnished but are a bit chipped/worn in some places. The bathroom, with a large sliding glass door, faces the room and takes some getting used to; some rooms are quite narrow, for example. between the sink and shower. The stairwell is steep and narrow but there is an elevator (I don't think a wheelchair will fit in). The breakfast is rich and includes fresh rolls and bread, delicious tea and, if desired, fresh boiled or fried eggs. Special requests such as vegan or gluten-free can be easily accommodated here.

Location very central, 10 minutes to the train station. Due to its location on the market square, it was very loud until late at night with the windows open. Windows are soundproof, so no problem in cooler seasons. Service very bad, reception only occupied in the mornings during breakfast with one person who also prepares breakfast. Breakfast very poor, hardly any choice, rolls warmed up. One day there wasn't even any butter left. The next day no breakfast at all because the employee simply didn't come. When we called the headquarters we were put off, but no one came. So we organized breakfast ourselves in a nearby bakery. Rooms spacious, a bit tired, shower calcified. The heating was always turned off by room service during the day, so that the room was cold in the evening. Difficult to find entrance, had to ask in bar

Great location but rooms are not convincing. This is my second time in this hotel and again the room is not satisfactory. Pictures on the internet are very well taken; the hotel is shown to be modern, tidy and spacious, which is unfortunately not true in reality.Today we again entered a very cold room with a musty smell. The bed has damage to the back wall, which I immediately noticed. The lamp in the bathroom above the mirror is broken, I'm looking forward to getting it cleaned up in the morning. Cabinet in the bathroom also damaged. Unfortunately I couldn't report all of this because I checked in after 8 p.m. and the reception is no longer staffed. The hallway also looks very unpleasant because it is old and the lighting leaves a lot to be desired. My room door at the end of the hallway was therefore very poorly lit. You also have to understand how to operate the television first. All in all, simple rooms that don't invite you to linger because they are uncomfortable!

The room was clean and pretty nice. Large double bed and the bathroom right next to it. Separated by a glass wall.Check-in was very easy, via a key box with a code! But now the reason for the “bad - honest” rating:The description of the situation is at the center. However, it is not indicated in any way that there is an extensive nightlife directly under the window! And in the morning the noise continues with the city's pump trucks. I wouldn't mind if you could close the windows. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning or ventilation and if you don't want to "suffocate" you just have to leave the window open! We could hardly sleep for the 2 nights. All I can say about the service is that communication via email worked well.Addendum:Thank you Mr Riedner for your reaction.A market square is not always a center of city life. It's also not "clear" to people who don't know the place that it's a busy place and that it's always like that!I always write my reviews truthfully and they also serve to reconsider any criticism and, if possible, implement it. Because this is the only way to excel in service and continually improve!I wish you all the best.Best regardsBenjamin Leising

Great location, within walking distance to the market square, shops, train station or parking garage.Quick check-in at the key safe in the entrance area. Beautifully and modernly furnished rooms with parquet floors. Very nice bathroom. We slept very well. In the morning, delicious breakfast with very good cappuccino. Friendly staff and very good value for money. We'd love to come back.

Unimpressive mid-range hotel. Once you have found the rather unsightly entrance and the key machine, you can reach your renovated, small but fully equipped room by elevator. The next morning you get to know the breakfast and the service. Breakfast has everything you need and works that way. Service is tried hard. All in all, a medium offer that is clearly too expensive.

This was by far the lousiest room I've ever had to stay in!The first impression was still good, at first glance everything looks very nice and new.But then my eyes fell on the sign on the shelf: my “personal” toilet is the toilet in the hallway. It's probably my own fault because reading "room with bathroom" was enough for me. It is certainly completely legitimate that - as long as it only says "room with bathroom" - they give me a shared toilet and I can probably count myself lucky that I don't have to walk to the nearest construction site to the Dixi toilet. But I think it borders on cheating if you don't explicitly mention a shared toilet. When my anger had cooled down a bit, I asked myself where this constant booming noise came from. A look through the window into the tiny courtyard makes it clear that this is certainly caused by the air conditioning or ventilation or something else in the restaurant underneath the hotel. Whether it is turned off at night at all or whether it runs 24/7... Let's wait and see.“Wait and see” because I’m writing this review before the night has even started. All of the above is the bad luck you can have (not necessarily have) with a cheap room. But now something else has happened that is unnecessary and shows the sheer stupidity of the hotel operators.I wanted to watch the news and tried turning on the TV. I was quickly sure that the TV wasn't in standby, which I appreciated, but I couldn't find a way to turn the TV on. There are two switches right next to the door that I hadn't tried before. "If only one of them were responsible for the television..." I thought to myself and switched back and forth on the switches a little impatiently and rudely. Actually! Suddenly all the lights and the television turn on. Apparently one of the two switches is the main switch and the other switch controls the light above the sink. With the main switch I can turn the lamp above my bed and the television on and off at the same time, so without light there is no television. I actually would have liked to watch TV again later, when it's already dark outside, _without_ attracting tons of mosquitoes with the bright overhead light.I probably would have had to close the window anyway because of the roaring ventilation, but still... By the way, it turns out that all these considerations are completely in vain because the television has no reception at all.Oh yes: without a main switch, no electricity. So I can only charge my cell phone when the ceiling light is on.And the crowning absurdity: in my small 15 square meter room I can only turn on the small lamp next to my bed when the main switch is on, which means that the ceiling light is constantly on. In order to be able to briefly light myself at night, I have a lamp that I can only use when I sleep in the light. You're kidding me...Addendum No. 1: So, the towel holder just fell down because it wasn't screwed on.Addendum number 2: the bedside lamp simply doesn't work at all. Neither with nor without a main switch. I'm starting to get the impression that I'm the first guest in this room...Addendum No. 3: the ventilation is switched off at some point during the night. Hurray! Then it's really quiet. Very forgiving that my last statement is something positive.

Great location, right on the market square. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. The breakfast was ok, the sausage wasn't entirely fresh. There are no parking spaces at the hotel and none are shown on the website.
