We had a few great days in Dessau and the City Pension was just nice and friendly.There is no need to judge the situation because the boss and his (I think) wife are very, very nice.The city is a 15 minute walk

Check-in went smoothly. If, like ours, the reception is unmanned, you can easily reach it by telephone. After 10 minutes a very friendly older gentleman was available to us.The large room in Bauhaus style was very clean and functionally furnished. The WiFi works great and the double bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there is no refrigerator in the room, which would be an advantage at temperatures above 30 degrees. But there is a communal kitchen one floor up with cooling and cooking facilities. I found the pre-installed tablet computer in the room to be excellent. This meant you could find out a lot of information about Dessau. The bathrooms are definitely too small and connecting the fans directly to the light switch is not an advantage.The breakfast is very tasty and extensive. There is something for every taste there. If something is missing, the friendly older gentleman will refill it immediately.There are a few parking options on site, but you can also park in the underground car park for €8 per night. Otherwise you won't walk to the tram stop for more than 3 minutes.

The guesthouse is on the upper floor of a commercial building. We felt very comfortable and received a very friendly welcome, even our two dogs were warmly welcomed. The rooms were very clean and had enough space. A fan in the room allowed us to sleep well despite the very warm summer temperatures. Breakfast buffet was good and sufficient, and with a large selection from the region. We would love to come back.

The hotel is not a separate building, but is located on the 3rd floor of a commercial building.Rooms are clean but spartan. Bed is very narrow, probably 80 cm. Breakfast good, but the O juice was unreasonable.Very good introduction to the culture and sights from the concierge

Completely okay for one night in transit. The towels should be replaced, they are past their glory days. Unfortunately, the breakfast is not appealing either. Serving rolls from the day before on Sundays doesn't work so well. I usually drink orange juice undiluted. Don't come again!

Great guesthouse, very friendly welcome, lots of personal helpful tips and information material about what you can do in Dessau and the surrounding area. I really liked the Bauhaus style. The guesthouse is on the 3rd floor of a large building and there is an elevator. Our double room was quiet and large, the breakfast was really great, with homemade salads, lots of regional products, fresh rolls and also scrambled eggs and bacon. Always happy!

I received a very friendly welcome. My request to be able to have breakfast earlier was immediately accommodated.I was surprised by the size of my room.I would describe the breakfast as lavish and lovingly prepared.I didn't expect that in this price range. Here, emphasis is placed on the regionality of the products and the suppliers are named.A bus/tram stop (At the Old Water Tower) can be reached quickly in approx. 200m, providing a direct connection to the main train station in just under ten minutes.It's a shame that I was only there one night and had to leave early this morning.Thank you very much!

Very nice guesthouse, the renovation was carried out according to Bauhaus criteria. Nice breakfast room and there is a club room in the attic where you can make yourself food or tea at any time.Very accommodating owner. There is a lot of information about Dessau.Large bike room with power sockets.Very good breakfast
