Older hotel, the charm of the last millennium shines through from time to time. Beds were comfortable, overall you can't say anything against the room.Fly screens would be desirable because when the window is open, some insects will come and see who is living there.Unfortunately it was unbearably hot and the rooms were heated. Air conditioning wouldn't be a bad idea, I know it's not exactly cheap.Breakfast very inexpensive and completely ok. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking is free

Very friendly, accommodating and concerned about the well-being of the guests. Unfortunately, I didn't notice anything of the surrounding area because I was involved in work.

Nice and friendly reception in the reception, was probably the boss. The hotel and the rooms were functional and clean. The location was also good, close to the castle park. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and good, the only drawback was the poor table order, which was very cramped. Otherwise, with regard to the renovation of the hotel complex, it will certainly be an economic consideration that must be carefully considered in this day and age. Conclusion: Definitely a recommendation for a short stay! Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Hotel near Wörlitzer Park. Great parking lot - in the shade and a very nice landlord who warned us about a ticket when we arrived (parking meter)!!We got a room away from the sunny side - fortunately, because it was very warm outside. We had to walk maybe 50 meters to the nearest hotel for breakfast, but that wasn't a problem at all.The breakfast was good - many guests were catered for there. It's hard to believe, because I didn't hear or see any other guests in our hotel. The mattresses were pretty soft, well - some people like it and others don't. The armchairs (probably Ikea - almost white) were very comfortable, but the covers could easily have been washed - they weren't that appetizing. A few coat hooks would also have been nice. When it rains you can't hang your wet clothes in the closet. A small refrigerator would have been ideal given the temperatures.Overall it was a nice little getaway.

It is a very nice and clean hotel and has a great location with a very short walk directly to the Wörlitz parks, the lake and various restaurants. …

A hotel from old times that is gradually being restored. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is super comfortable. I mean the best bed I've slept in in a hotel. There is a large corner bathtub for showering. The breakfast is very simple. Little things are missing, such as a hotel guide in the room, friendly welcome, bottle of water in the room, sauna is broken.

Price performance is good. Hotel stopped in the 90s. Cleanliness was OK. Parking available behind the hotel. Modernization would be good for the hotel. Surely there would be more guests...

Once and unfortunately never again - despite the wonderful Wörlitz ParkWe stayed at the Parkhotel with two children from September 17th to 18th, 2022 and found the stay quite sobering. When we entered the room there was dirty lint on the toilet lid. This itself had some chips and swollen areas. We were also greeted by a large spider in the tub. One towel had no hanger, one was pretty tattered, the hanger was almost through. What we found worse, however, was the bathroom door frame. It looked as if the lock had been broken. This poses a significant risk of injury, especially for children. In the room we discovered holes and dirt stains on the bed linen and several large tears in the curtain. The worst thing, however, was that there were shards of glass around the seating area and partly in the armchair. It appeared that one of the glasses had broken (there were three on the four-person tray) and only the rough ones had been quickly cleared away. It's a miracle that none of us stepped in/sat in it and got hurt.We were also disappointed at the buffet in the morning: there was obviously only pork on the sausage platter, and the butter was served on the (cow) cheese platter. The only vegetables we had were a few tomatoes. All in all, we don't think our night was worth the 154 EUR that we unfortunately paid upon check-in. A pity! There was no response to our email on the day of departure, only the automatic email, we would be happy to receive reviews. From the outside, the in-house restaurant appears to have been closed for a long time.In the hotel there was advertising for the “Hotel zum Gondolier” and the “Restaurant and Guesthouse for the Slugging Pig”. These belong to the same owners, the guests of the guesthouse probably have breakfast in the hotel (we had significantly more eaters than beds).
