In the morning, sitting on the bench outside the hotel with a view of the countryside and a coffee in your hand - indescribable! You have the feeling you are very far away. I was able to completely relax and felt very comfortable. The rooms are very nice, there is a wine fridge in each room so you can always enjoy the homemade wine at the perfect temperature, the excellent mattress ensured a great night's sleep. It's also great that you can take the elevator straight to your room. You are asked when you would like to have your breakfast and it is rich and delicious. I have found a new place of longing: the Hallgarter pliers!!Sabine from Berlin

We went for a special Mother's Day brunch, with great food and unlimited Sekt!We had a very pleasant time there, the day was beautiful, our daughter loved the place, she played a lot.We could visit the Zange hallgarter but we preferred not to do so that day.The negative point, which is not the establishment's fault, is the horrible access to the place - dirt roads, with potholes and very short - I don't understand how the authorities don't solve it, something so simple, all it takes is political will.The problem is only in the final section, but even so it makes us think we are in the wrong place.That said, I do intend to return to the place, hoping to see it resolved.If I were to hold an event, this would certainly be a wonderful place.

First of all, on the positive side of Hallgarter Zange: this is a location in the forest that opens like a shell and from which a beautiful pearl emerges. The downside is the access. The navigation system initially takes you through forests, it's really a bit misleading. So a good piece of advice to hotel visitors: enter 'Hallgarten Rebhang' directly into your navigation system. This saves you a detour and you reach your destination even quicker, which is definitely worth achieving. Since we almost got lost, we had to contact the hotel. The hosts navigated us to the hotel by phone in an easy-to-understand manner and gave us a warm welcome after a little odyssey. To our delight, we didn't find the usual stuff like Cola, Fanta and other spirits in the minibar in the room, but rather a bottle of wine from the 'Mein Freiheit' winery. That was the straw that made everything right after the downer. Therefore five stars. Thanks for the great stay!´´

Unfortunately closed company, without announcement etc on the internet. Even though the event hadn't started yet, we weren't even allowed up the tower for the view. It's a shame, we had to walk there specifically. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

The 'Mein Freizeit' winery is now located on the Hallgarter Zange. It is open in the afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays. There are wines, sparkling wine, grape juice and pretzels and/or cakes. The view is fantastic and a hike is always worth it.

Unfortunately closed. The hotel is used by Ukrainians. So you can save yourself the journey.
