Because of the location, this hotel doesn't have to worry (200 meters to the train station, one S-Bahn station to the airport). The rooms have been renovated, but are very noisy. I slept very badly there. By the way, the WiFi didn't work either and therefore the keyless key for checking in didn't work either. I paid around €115 - I don't have to do it again. In addition, the hotel name is misleading as it is de facto an old inn called Schützenhof.

Unfortunately I have a lot of criticism and was very shocked when I arrived at night. From the outside you can't tell that it's the Hotel Riverside. I drove past it four times in a taxi before we realized that it was the old Schützenhaus. The TV didn't work, the cold and warm knob in the shower couldn't be seen, there were several spiders in the room, the floor is completely uneven, bad light in the bathroom, poorly finished walls, the room was dirty. All in all, the hotel room looked totally cobbled together and like it came from pre-war times. I felt totally uncomfortable and am massively disappointed by it all.Positive: Proximity to the airport, check-in via online key, communication via email

Flickering lights in the bathroom and in the room, hair on the bed sheets, deafening noise from the ventilation system in the bathroom. These are my impressions for one night in this hotel. And all of this for almost €100. The only positive thing about this hotel is that it is a short walk to the airport.

No contact person, no reception, I waited almost 1 hour for electronic access on July 22nd, 2024. No breakfast option as described on the website, nor a hairdryer in the room. 🙈

Decent rooms, proximity to the airport (one stop on the S Bahn) was important to us, we had the opportunity to park the car there for a week. Everything went well . However, there was a delay on the train back, so we took a taxi (approx. 20 euros).
