The Jagdhorn closes on March 31, 2024. But the hotel will still exist for a while.We had dinner several times. The food and the service were great, even if it took a while but it was good. All wishes were fulfilled during the meal.We thank you for everything

We were in Diepholz for three days in March 23. We were always well served. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty and there was even espresso at NO extra charge. Restaurant was also very good, a real chef and not a warmer! Of course it takes a moment for the food to arrive, but that's why it deserves the name "food"! Salads/starters arrived quickly, which shortened the waiting time for the main course. Classic gastronomy that you can hardly find anymore. The rooms are equipped with high-quality furniture. The only point of criticism is that the mattresses are relatively low and if you are a little heavier, it will be difficult to get your beer belly out of bed :-). But overall everything is fine. Keep it up!!!

Unfortunately the owner ended up in the hospital. The family in the business did everything to ensure that we had a good time as guests. I hope for the family that the hotel continues. I was very pleased.

The Hotel & Restaurant “Zum Jagdhorn” is located on the edge of Diepholz. I'm rating the food and service here because we were only guests in the restaurant. We were there on Saturday afternoon and had reserved in advance. The service was very friendly and gave us the menus quickly. Drinks were brought to the table shortly after arrival. We had a reasonable wait of about half an hour for our food. The menu is clear, which is reflected in the quality of the food. All dishes were very tasty, well seasoned and the meat was cooked to perfection. There was even a children's portion for our little one, even though it wasn't on the menu. The price-performance ratio is perfect here. The ambience in the dining room is a bit old, but that didn't bother us much. Some background music was played for entertainment. There are plenty of free parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. All in all a pleasant stay.

We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are old but everything is clean, large rooms and good mattresses. We received a very friendly welcome. Food was really good. Beautiful outdoor beer garden. Breakfast requests were addressed without any problem. Everything very good in everything. We would come again.
