Well, that was fine for an overnight stay. Good thing it stayed that way.Price/performance doesn't fit here.The stairs in the hallway are very, very loud. It is not possible to walk through the stairwell without making an incredible amount of noise.The rooms are very simple. The room doors, pictures and some of the furniture are probably from the 60s.Rooms must be vacated by 10:30.The couple (owners) are nice.Hot chocolate at breakfast is completely inedible and no longer recognizable as such. When the gentleman pointed out that there was something wrong with the machine, he responded with "it's unlikely to be accepted anyway." The milk coffee was just okay and passed as a normal cafe.The rest of the breakfast wasn't particularly inviting. It was better for us to leave it alone and have breakfast somewhere else.The “Green Option” notice speaks for itself and could become a viral hit. I've rarely read such nonsense.Overall it is expensive, very basic but clean.

Very friendly hosts and everything a guesthouse has to offer is there. Rooms are clean and perfectly adequate, although not modern. Carport approx. 50mtr. remotely present. I was once again very satisfied and would book this guesthouse again.

Hello everyone,I work as a lecturer for the Malteser and was a guest of the Allendorf family for the first time. For my purposes I found it great. The rooms and bathroom are clean and the mattresses are great for sleeping gently. The location is very quiet, the carport is 20 meters away. Great breakfast. And very nice hosts who fulfill almost every wish. I'm looking forward to next weekend when I'll be happy to come back.

We were welcomed by a super nice couple and the rooms were extremely clean.A refrigerator under the stairs has everything you need.In the garden there is a bicycle box for 2 e-bikes with sockets.2 min. walk to the “Zehnthof”For the big hunger... mega!The breakfast offers everything you need to get back on the bike feeling well fortified.Conclusion: great accommodation, great food, nice people, when we are in the area again we know where we will stay!!!

We really enjoyed our visit and I also found the Allendorf couple to be very polite and courteous. The room was well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was, according to the stories, delicious and very nice! We are happy to recommend the holiday apartment.😊😉

The Pension Allendorf sells online double rooms for single use with 30m2 of living space, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, at least 150cm wide double bed. The hefty price (156 euros for 2 nights) will be debited in full more than 1 month before arrival. On site you will not find an airy, large room or a double bed, but a small 10m2 storage room with a 90cm bed which has been comfortably tucked under the sloping roof. So that there is still room for the other discarded furniture (stained armchairs) in the chamber. The toilet is across the hall. The TV is just as big as a standard laptop. The spider honeycombs (according to the owner of the house, they come out fresh every night - that's why they are visible, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it) and the same goes for the dust and the musty smell - apparently you can't do anything about it either. If you then politely ask for an alternative, you'll just be taken for a fool... There's no money back because the fine owners have NEVER received a complaint, and they can't help it at all on the internet and on other people's confirmations Things stand. From the other reviews it seems that these people got a double room or even an entire apartment and not the same as me - so you really can't compare apples with oranges. But that is probably the usual practice of this fraudulent pension. Zero insight and zero cooperation. I hope the same situation happens to these people one day, that they pay for something they don't receive, that they are taken for a fool and cheated and then have a lot of trouble because of it... karma.

Booked a room and found a small holiday apartment. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast is very extensive: rolls, bread, muesli, eggs, .... and of course delicious coffee to make yourself, straight from the machine. Well suited for longer stays. Parking directly at the house. If the guest stays for more than four days, the kitchen is also available.
