The rooms are nice, but the entrance to the hotel is at the supplier entrance. Parked up, pitch dark and with junk parked. Something else is beautiful.There is no reception here, you enter the hotel with a numerical code. We were not given the WiFi code.In addition, loud events take place right below the hotel rooms until late at night (2 a.m.) during the week, which ruins the actually quiet location.

On August 31st, 2024 we celebrated our wedding with almost 40 guests in the carriage houses of Crass Castle.The team around Jens Peukert, Angelika and Bobby supported us perfectly in the preparation and the implementation went wonderfully.The food and service were perfect. We had our wedding here and its definitely not for organised people, stay away unless you are someone that likes to fingers cross and pray that everything works out attitude. There is only so much that a beautiful location and venue can do.We tried to contact anyone for so long before we could have an idea of packages, menus and drinks on the day. Trying to agree on pricing is also pointless. After so many follow up by email, prices were only sent 3 days before the event with an increase accross the board.We had uncooked ravioli on the day and food was really sad and terrible quality for the price that you are being charged. We also had only one request that staff would know how to make 3 cocktails as we knew our guess would ask for it as an open bar but staff was clueless on the day.Then when we emailed or called the venue the following week to give feedback, we had no response.Get yourself another venue with better communication and food on your special day and just head there for pictures instead.

The location is super top.But the employees and everything organizational itself is for the trash can!!!ATTENTION: EVERYTHING IS PAID SEPARATELY,PURE YIELD.WE WERE THERE FOR MY COUSEN'S WEDDING PARTY YESTERDAY.THEY WERE EXCLUDED.THEY DON’T BUILD DECORATIONS. THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO WHEN YOU BOOK THE LOCATION.JUST MAKE SURE THE CHILDREN AREN'T PLAYING WITH BALLOONS. I BROUGHT BALLOONS FOR THE LITTLE ONE, AND SURE. SOME OF THEM STOP BURST, THEN THE WAITER WENT TO THE BRIDE AND TOLD HER TO CLEAN UP THE BROKEN BALLOONS.HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE, AFTER THE FOOD WAS DISTRIBUTED LATE AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES, THE BUFFET WAS CLEANED UP AFTER HALF AN HOUR. WHAT DO THEY DO WITH ALL THE REST OF THE FOOD? DISTRIBUTE AMONG EMPLOYEES OR WHAT?SURE YOU EAT, BUT DO YOU HAVE TO PUT EVERYTHING AWAY???THERE WERE STILL CHILDREN PLAYING AND WANTED TO EAT LATER. BUT THEN OF COURSE THERE WAS NOTHING.YOU HAD TO CONSTANTLY WAIT FOR DRINKS.THERE'S A "DISCO ROOM" IN THE BASEMENT THAT STINKED SO BADLY OF MOLD, IT WAS REALLY EXTREME.AND THE TOILETS WERE DEFINITELY NOT CLEAN.EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO REBUILD COSTS MONEY SO BE CAREFUL!!!!YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED TO DANCE INDOORS BECAUSE THE FLOOR WAS SENSITIVE!!!!YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO THROW CONFETTI, CLEANING IT UP IS TOO BUSY FOR THEM.BOOK ANOTHER LOCATION FOR YOUR EVENT, THE LOCATION AND THE VIEW IS BEAUTIFUL SO ENJOY A GLASS OF WINE FROM TIME TO TIME BUT THAT'S IT.

We celebrated our wedding at Crass Castle in May 2024 and are 100% satisfied with our decision. Thanks to Bobby and Jens' great planning in advance, everything went like clockwork on our big day, so we could concentrate fully on our guests. The food was excellent, the view of the Rhine was fantastic, the staff was very friendly and flexible. We would do it again any time! Thank you very much!

Great location with excellent music (Cuba) great food (fries amazing)The two waitresses did their best and were always friendly. Very very good! Still, support for both of them would have been better...Waiting in line for 25 minutes is a bit too much.

Great location, nice location, great guests, nice music and now this happens. .👎 Poor service... 😴 Queues with waiting times of at least 30 to 40 minutes for a glass of wine or water. Everything is self-service, even the food has to be picked up in a dark hallway.If you are thirsty and hungry and don't come here on the way to eat and drink, you will unfortunately starve and die of thirstIf this isn't stopped... we won't be coming here anymore...Waiting times too long...🥺

We celebrated our wedding at Crass Castle. After I proposed to my wife at Neuschwannstein Castle and we are both lovers of castles and palaces, the choice of Crass Castle was not difficult for us. In general, I would like to praise Eltville. The journey through Eltville to Crass Castle has an incredible flair. Crass Castle itself was great, the location is great and you have a beautiful view of the Rhine, ideal for a free wedding. The organizers themselves were very nice and accommodating. I give Crass Castle 5 stars in all respects. I can only recommend it.

A great event location for celebrations of all kinds. We were invited to a wedding and everything was perfect from A to Z. Beautiful rooms, lovingly decorated and furnished.The outdoor areas are very interesting with bushes, lawns and flowering areas. Fantastic views of the Rhine and a swing for young and old ensure that there is no chance of boredom.The location is very well maintained and clean. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff.It was a wonderful day at Crass Castle!!!

My rating only refers to the outdoor dining on May 1st.The location and the view of the rows are of course indescribably beautiful. Nevertheless, I find the price for a (simple) wine in the size 0.2L starting at 9 euros (for self-service) to be very excessive.

We celebrated our wedding at Crass Castle on April 6th and we couldn't have imagined a better place. The staff was TOP: Jens and Bobby guided us a lot through the planning phase, and on the day Jens and the rest of the service were always there and very friendly, polite and helpful, from start to finish, something that many of our guests also communicated with us. Of course, the good weather helped a lot to make the day perfect, also because we were able to enjoy the beautiful terrace at Crass Castle. The food from the buffet was really tasty and many guests went to the buffet several times. The chocolate fountain and photo booth were one of the best decisions of the day! We also booked the hotel, and the rooms were mostly large and with a nice view; it was like being in an old castle! Really cool.All in all, the staff was very professional and friendly, the food was delicious, and we had a great day and a lot of fun, so in the end we were super satisfied. We would like to thank the entire staff at Crass Castle! :)

We were invited to a wedding. The location was very nice, but unfortunately the service and food were the exact opposite. The tarte flambée that was served was so hot that it burned your fingers. The buffet was also disappointing. The service staff held us back until our table was allowed to get up and serve ourselves. We had to wait >30 minutes until we were allowed to go to the buffet. The buffet selection was the worst I have ever experienced at a wedding. Hardly any guest took anything afterwards. It's a shame, so much more would have been possible.

Addendum:Instead of taking Kiritk to heart, a law firm is hired to try to delete reviews.We were guests at a wedding a long time ago. The location is beautifully located on the Rhine and is very easy to reach, even if the parking spaces are a little further away and consist of a gravel lot. The wedding was very nice, the only thing we really remember negatively was the food. I think the adjectives loveless, irrelevant, interchangeable, unimaginative describe food quite well in our eyes. We were really very disappointed in terms of taste.
