It was our first time at the Velmans family place and we really enjoyed it. Nice, friendly owners, very well-kept place and clean sanitary facilities. The location is also great. We will be happy to come back.

Very clean campsite with very nice owners who provide you with great information about the region. We particularly liked the service that you were shown to the parking space. The sanitary facilities are clean, very well maintained and new. We would come back at any time.

This is our second time here! You will be warmly welcomed and you will also get good tips on where to go for a walk with dogs, for example! The place is clean and tidy! The sanitary facilities are clean at all times! The Designer Outlet and Roermond can be reached quickly on foot or by car.We feel very comfortable and will definitely come here again!

Quite expensive and not worth the money!There are a few nice RV sites by the water, but they were full. The place that was assigned to us and unfortunately had to be paid for upon arrival was actually a disgrace. A permanent caravan site that appears to have just been vacated. Half of the area is earth, the other half is the remains of the terrace and a corner of meadow. Wouldn't have been usable without the tent carpet. Unfortunately it had already been paid for and no refund was possible.When spoken to about the electricity not working, the operator was grumpy and unfriendly.OK, the plumbing was new and clean.But:1 euro for 3 minutes of hot water is princely.Washing up water costs 50 cents.One of the very few places that we give the rating “Never again”. Unfortunately I have to give one star because otherwise a recession is not possible.

We showed up there on the last Saturday of the summer holidays with 5 people and 5 motorcycles without registering at around 4:30 p.m. and we received uncomplicated and great help. Three tents, the machines and also a corner where we could set up our grill. It was a great evening and if we are in the area again this will definitely be our first stop. Many thanks again to the Velsmans team🙋♀️👍

Beautiful campsite with good and clean sanitary facilities.Field and beach on the water. Dropped off swimming piece.Picnic tables and benches.Excellent places with trees and hedges.Near Roermond (the outlet) and the water ski slope.

A great place to relax. Everything is well-kept, toilets and showers are kept clean. Decent prices. Close to grocery stores. The beach is within sight, where children can play in the water and you can always keep an eye on them.

I am absolutely thrilled! Great owner couple! You do an excellent job. The campsite is very, very clean and absolutely well maintained. The beach is MEGA. Sanitary facilities are in top modern condition and very, very clean. Worth mentioning: children's playground, table tennis table, lawn, etc. also on site. There is even a swimmers' area in front of the private sandy beach. Great excursion options nearby. Very inexpensive. Here the guest is a king!

A nice short trip to Roermond. Despite the announced later arrival, we were warmly welcomed and taken to the pitch. Here you can simply unwind.Showering for 3 minutes costs €1 and rinsing costs €.50, which didn't bother us.All other campers are a real community.We'll definitely come back

The facilities and sanitary facilities are very clean. The owners friendly. There is a playground and a beach. Both are well maintained. The lake is ideal for swimming. The location is great, you can get to Roermond quickly, even on foot. Beach bar about 800m away is recommended, you get a holiday feeling very quickly and there are a lot of distractions for the kids. Overall we had a very good stay.

We stayed here for two nights in the motorhome on the way back. Reservation went smoothly. Friendly welcome and good tips for bike tours. We were allocated a place by the water (3.00 extra), which was ok as these places are really nice with a fantastic view over the water of Roermond, grass pavers for fastening and even fastening anchors for securing the awning.Access to the city, bike tours, sanitary facilities, etc. have already been described many times.What we didn't like so much is that the shower costs 1 € for 3 (!) minutes and warm water in the sink costs 50 cents. have to be paid. That's quite proud for a place in this price category (35.00 / 2 people). When we visited, the washing up areas weren't quite right in terms of cleanliness and the drainage of the water. V/E, on the other hand, is very good. According to the operator, WLAN is not possible at all because the municipality cannot ensure reception.

Very well-maintained campsite, sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day, dogs are allowed on the site. There are a few long-term campers on the site, you can also swim. There is a snack bar nearby.The owners are very friendly.So thumbs up.👍

We booked the place for the next day in the evening and unfortunately had to cancel the place early in the morning due to illness (child 3 years old with fever).No goodwill from the operator. We had to pay 55 euros in cancellation fees because we didn't meet the 14 day cancellation deadline. The operator immediately threatened to call a debt collection company if we didn't pay.Maybe a voucher for a later visit would have been a better choice. So we definitely won't include the place in our plans again.
