Beautiful campsite. Nice and quiet (except for a rooster). Free hot shower and hot washing up water. The owner is not always there, so just park your camper or caravan somewhere. You can call or text him.

About the campin: Very basic. Lawn with pitches all around. Those are spacious places. With room for play within the circle.Sanitary facilities very dated. The manager was hardly seen.Playground, benches, etc. dirty/rotten.No daily cleaning. No reception: just call: just stand up.Does not radiate coziness and quality.

Excellent mini campsite, large pitches, relaxed atmosphere. Great location near beautiful Roermond, with many beautiful cycling and walking routes. Don't forget to visit Odilienberg with its delicious restaurant and beautiful church. And don't forget the wonderful showers!

Hiker's cabin is basic. Plates and cutlery not complete. There is 1 burner for cooking and a kettle. No insect screens, so mosquitoes. The reception was not open during our stay. The owner doesn't seem to have much interest in it anymore and I think that's a shame to see.

We leave the motorway and Roermond, pass orchards, freshly cultivated fields, small forests and soon reach our destination for the day, the Ossa Base Camp campsite. Although not far from Roermond, it is surrounded by nature. It exudes a Dutch nonchalance and we are warmly welcomed, even though the place doesn't actually open until April 1st. So our tent is the only one on the beautiful, spacious meadow, where there are a good 20 pitches arranged in a circle during the season. The sanitary facilities are spartan but sufficient. We have everything we need and can concentrate on setting up the tent and eating dinner. As someone who likes to stay at campsites close to nature, I can recommend Ossa Base Camp. There are no unnecessary barriers, fences, plastic buckets or the like here. Nature has the say here and that gives this place a very pleasant atmosphere.

Made a reservation request via SVR, called and no one answered, sent a text message that was not responded to... now I just have to report to the SVR that either this campsite no longer exists or that they are simply too bad to answer. Inappropriate!

Nice basic campsite where you mainly focus on your company. No WiFi, few things in the vicinity and no catering. Completely quiet.

Great campsite for affordable money. The campsite is outdated, but that does not make the place any less.I would rather have outdated sanitary facilities with a good shower that is neatly maintained than new ones with a splatter. The campsite has approximately 20 pitches and is very spacious. When we were there it was full, but you still have enough privacy and can enjoy the peace and quiet. From the campsite you can take beautiful cycling routes towards the forests of Posterholt or the waters of Roermond and Maasbracht.Tip; coffee and pie at Sibbels in St Odilienberg (on cycle route KP75-KP76).
