Well, the trip started with us being abandoned for over 3 hours after we arrived and being told to wait until our accommodations were assigned to us. The supervisors seemed relatively unmotivated, even if there were a few nice faces. After we were assigned to our lodge, we first discovered that the fire alarm was very easily installed and fell off when a volleyball hit us.The beds were not in good condition, one of them creaked so loudly every time you moved that everyone could hear it if you moved even an inch. However, the room had so little space and so few small cupboards that suitcases had to be stored on the floor. So you can definitely say that it was too small for 6 people in this case. A socket is also a bit small, so I would recommend that everyone take multiple plugs with them. But now enough about the lodge, although I have to point out that there is no electricity in the tents and one of our colleagues' beds collapsed during the night. The showers weren't bad and just a bit hard but very good for youth hostel standards. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about the toilets. These were really mangy. The standing toilets were adequate, but the normal ones left something to be desired, even though they are supposed to be cleaned thoroughly every morning, they are very disgusting, there is a lot of piss on the floor, clogged toilets and the sinks are completely outdated and some of them don't work. were installed incorrectly. Let's move on to the food, which was very unappetizing and was available in very small quantities. The breakfast was good considering the conditions, as there were good rolls and nice options for toppings as well as milk and mediocre cereal. Lunch was more or less not available, as there was only a small snack at reception, which in many cases was not very enjoyable. The dinner was the most degrading thing about the whole thing, as there were no tasty meals, it tasted very unappetizing and you didn't get full because of the small amount, so you really have to pack something for your child to fill up there, alternatively you can You can also bring money with you to buy something to eat in the “city”. This town wasn't a blast either, there's a fancy Ferris wheel on the beach about a 30 minute walk just like the town itself. The Ferris wheel was tall and is really nice. This so-called city is again very small, there are grocery stores like Rewe. There was also a nice souvenir shop, but not much else apart from a small Tedi. The system used to leave the camp is also a bit poorly thought out; at the beginning you are given a so-called go card, which is then handed over to the always motivated receptionist. Then you have to register and write where you are going and what your name is etc. and hand in your go-cards, which also have information such as your telephone number on them. The only problem is that this reception, which is also a kind of kiosk, has fixed opening times, which means that you don't even have the opportunity to log out half the day, and leaving without a card is also not checked. The beach is very nice, a few algae like you don't see anywhere else on the Baltic Sea. The lifeguards are also in a clearly demarcated area which should be appreciated. The supervisors, however, also have a very leaky system here, as according to them you are only allowed to go into the water under the supervision of a supervisor. However, if one is there, this doesn't really make a difference because some supervisors spend their shift sleeping. Even though I mainly focused on negative aspects in this review, it was still a very nice vacation with some very nice supervisors.
